Don't worry Octavius. So far as I know, only shelper, johnlee & I have played before so there's a lot of new people.

As I said I have no idea what we are doing at all but I'm sure someone will kill me off quickly. Please make it as painless as possible.

Now for a question Do you draw names out of a hat to assign roles to people or does the moderator get to give anyone they want whatever role they like? And I take it that we can email the moderator to ask questions during the game if we are not sure of what to do next because someone must know who we all are.

And do we get to vote for the next person after we are dead or is it that once you are dead you do not have any say in the game any more?

Edit; read the link you provided above. Now I am keen. Question are we to have a Godfather in this game? I was unsure from your post above. How many mafia will we have or is that part of the whole thing. Not knowing if there are 1,2 or 3 mafia involved. Looks like we will end up with 13-15 players too. Neat. Are we all going to post in a thread here in this forum or where?

No need to hide - it's true. Having a coloured name is almost guaranteed to get you killed off quickly in the OD games. You're too visible

The secret for everyone else is to post enough that people don't think you've abandoned the game and kill you off for that reason, but not so much that you stand out from the rest and make your name be the one that comes to people's minds.
