I used Free Hemp and Ceramics exploit to place 9 Elites. That caused debt so I took all the money the allies wanted to give me[2x1200cash]. Since I was in debt periodically mid game, and the common housing block was being held back from the level I allowed in the mixed block, I needed to place Watchtowers.
Too many trees & the trade routes didn't display correctly. |

Thank you for another gameplay User3!
IT's true that there are many trees, I wanted to give the Kyoto's Valley humid sensation, but as per the woodcutters bug, in the 2.0 the trees will be lowered (not much, but a little).
I did adjust the trade routes in 1.5 or 1.6 (I don't renember well), so If you are playing the first version It's normal, There were many trade routes that needed adjustment. But, tell me if you are playing the updated version, because if you are, then something is wrong in the campaing and I will need to check the trade routes.
As always, I love that you used unexpected places to rise the assets. But I need to ask why did you get on debt? xD It was not necesary for the mission objective.
So, what I keep from this gameplay is that trees number must be lowered (not much, but it is necesary) And if you confirm to me that you are playing the updated version, then, Trade routes need to be also checked.
If you are playing the first upload, then you won't like the next Kyoto mission, because in the first upload, the empire cities didn't have climate, and there is one objective that was only achievable throw your year gifts (plus the allies gifts) and When me and my wife played that, we were playing for more than 30 years to pass the mission (I thought I changed it before upload first time, but in the re-testing I discovered that only the spanish version was modified, sorry)[Edited on 10/09/17 @ 07:37 AM]

The exploit only works when there is 1 hemp &/or 1 ceramic in a trade station set to sell them. if unable to get both setup the then one commodity is free and the other comes from your stocks. Since I had added a third hemp farm I know it would be difficult to deplete the warehouse hemp supply after sept of the 2nd year. I popped in and out of debt(a month or two at most) until Jade carving and silk sales padded the treasury. The for mentioned commodities require a lot of capital to expand into. (unirrigated Silk farms and Jade)
The unrest issues were mostly the common housing level difference(one level) & occasional unemployment greater then 10%, not debt. I didn't use the annual festival feature, normal cheapskate behavior for me.
I wanted to create a feeling of a bustling TOWN preparing for a deified Empress and Imperial court status. All that in 5 to 6 year expected timeframe for the monument completion.
villages= up to 2000 people, 1 fort small village, 2 forts large village.
towns= up to 3000 people, low level Elite housing and 2+ forts. Vassal villages. (NPC=2-3shields)
cities = over 3000 people, medium level Elites(silk), more than 2 forts(NPC=3-5 shields). Vassal towns.
Imperial courts = lavish city with every amenity possible. Vassal Cities and allies. (NPC=5-6shields.
NPC Coin count would follow the shields range. The Emperor system doesn't allow for vasseling oneself thus alliances for the player will simulate the effect. Breaking alliances would be the players method of simulating a rebellion.[Edited on 10/09/17 @ 10:49 AM]

Love it!
Only because you have entered in the story and you want to build a town for Himiko as If you were Jimmo himself, I'm happy.
I like your asset ranking, I'm working into an EDO (Tokyo) open play "like" campaign in the 16th century, and I thinck your ranking will be very useful for the empire map. Thank you.
Edit:
I'm having some issues to download this file, I will still trying.[Edited on 10/09/17 @ 12:53 PM]

Here is a link to some research my son & wife did on shield count progression over time. In assigning the number, one has to consider what the shield count may become years/decades in the future. Other Empire Map info there may be of interest/help.
