The zip file in this download is named 'Angkor-AXDIV-OP.zip' and contains a map file named 'Angkor-AXDIV-OP.map'. After downloading the zip file, unzip the map into the folder: \SIERRA\EmperorRotMK\Cities. That will make it available for selection in Open play, or for viewing in the editor.

This is a modified version of the Siem Reap map from the "A Xia’s Diary IV" custom campaign. It is 'enormous' in size, and has a humid climate. This map is an adaptation of the actual topography of the ancient city of Angkor, located just north of Siem Reap in present-day Cambodia. Angkor was the capital of the Khmer empire and flourished from the 9th to 15th centuries CE. Many beautiful temples were built at Angkor, and may still be visited today. This map depicts Angkor in its early stages, before its most famous temples such as Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom had been built. Some ruins are on this map, representing lesser temples and portions of the city walls and gatehouses that had been destroyed.

A list of the modifications that are included on this Open Play version of the map are as follows:

1. Salt deposits were added to the south side of the map.
