The sun set over the ocean as another day drew to a close.
The fleet of Azure City sat in the ocean, many wondering if
they would ever retake their home. But there wasn't much
time to think, what with the seemingly random monster
attacks. And it seemed as if all of the said "allies" of
Azure City were now completely unwilling to help. What
could one do? Sleep. Perhaps there would be some new
development in the morning.

devil appeared. Many turned their attention to it,
forgetting whatever they had been doing before. While it
was defeated, many other things that were going to come to
pass did not.

Several someones tried to kill Friend of Old, but failed.
Someone tried to kill GoSailing, but failed.
Someone tried to kill GoldenEye923, but failed.
It is now Day 1.
There are 21 of you, so it is 11 to lynch.

Holy Jesus on all the attempted NKs. All failing too? Whew.

Well, we got the Linear Guild doing kills... We got Belkar as a Vig... Xykon's group having yet more NKs...The Sapphire Guard probably having a kill... Yea, I could see this happening.

Looked that up for my own information but thought I'd share it. I'm thinking that Rot may have used that as a mechanic. We have at least 4 failed NK attempts:

and that sort of stretches the imagination and propabilities a bit that possible conditions/role-blocks could account for all the fails (even in a Rotaretilbo game). I think the Osyluth encounter is a way for Rot to show what would have been visible based on night emails and such (it interrupted all on-going actions) without actually killing anyone. Whether it might have also prevented non-visable night actions I am not going to guess.

As to matching characters to roles, I am not going to try that yet. The biggest mistake I think anyone can make in one of Rot's games to start making too many assumptions too early.

I do find it interesting that FoO drew multiple kill attempts though. What it may mean I have no idea. Winning too many games lately FoO?

I will explain my logic after he claims. I refuse to not explain it before then because it could ruin our chance to catch him. The long story short is I have a good reason to believe he is scum. If I give the long version, it will help him fake a claim so I will not.

It's quite a win-win Let's see, if we pressure FoO, we can get an RC, and then GoSailings will justify himself, so we got two pieces of info to compare and contrast. Then, from all the comparing and contrasting, we choose who to lynch: FoO or GoSailings.

You're right, I screwed up the grammar there. It should read that I refuse to claim or explain my logic before FoO claims.

I should also note that I know nothing of shanks. I'm not trying to exonerate him or anything, I just know FoO to be a better target than a random one.

This will most likely get us more information opposed to random pressuring. Though FoO may take awhile to respond since he has been inactive (didn't confirm to Madness Combat Mafia/Start his mafia at SpH)

Hmmm, surviving multiple attacks in one night makes me believe that FoO is iron. As if I am correct doctors can only protect a person from one night kill attempt, not multiple.

It looks like Sails has some suspicions on FoO anyway, better pursuing suspicions instead of random voting band wagons. If we push for a roleclaim i'd at least like to know where your reservations against FoO are coming from Sails.

As for FoO I targetted him last night myself and got a "failed." No it was not a NK, but an explanation would still be nice. Whataver he is it's more than iron...

I'm not voting due to the lack of a vote count at this point, but from reading this over, I think going for FoO doesn't make as much sense as it could. Sails, how do you know to go for FoO, curiously? Because it seems that FoO has a powerful role, but then again, he has some townie traits as well, which is interesting. I'm placing bets at this point on Osyluth, Xykon, and Vaarsuvius (actually, this one is probably a bit of a stretch ) Second, this thing about people being iron, I disagree, because note the last sentence of the write up, stating that many things that were going to come to be didn't. Obviously, something happened to stop them from happening, which, I think, was the appearance of the Osyluth. I therefore believe that it's far more likely that it just so happens that the appearance of the Osyluth made all night actions fail or something similar. Don't know about Sails - he might have some condition to stop that. Qarr, who summoned the Osyluth, perhaps, but then again, Sails hasn't come off as scummy yet.

Eh, my two cents. Seems to me to be more of a recap, but eh. Take it as you will.
