killed the Sun. There was an omnipotent red orb that gave
off a red glow to an otherwise black sky. However, sleep
had to come sometime, and now was that time. No one
expected the chaos that was about to ensue.

48 Hours until Day 1

The town awoke to a grizzly scene. An innocent bystander
had been stabbed through the chest, likely with a sword,
bladed side down. The blunt end had been used to then cut
from the belly up to the sternum. On top of it all, the
bystander had been shot in the face several times at close
range. The Sheriff was also found, a shallow stab wound in
his chest and most of his face blown away by a shotgun.
Friend of Old claimed that, during the night, he'd been
attacked several times as well, but that he'd escaped.


An innocent bystander (Survivor Fo), a vanilla towny, has been killed.
The Sheriff (Brighty), a one-shot territorial cop, has been killed.
Several someones tried to kill Friend of Old, but failed.
It is now Day 1.
There are 10 of you, so it is 6 to lynch.

Lol @ the multple attacks on FoO again. Looking back on another one of Rot's Madness Combat games, he always left subtle clues one who the killer was. This one is quite obvious

Teehee, and if I recall, in one of my past games, someone thought that was a clue towards grizzly as well. However, I'll say it now: the last game I hosted to feature clues for the town was Madness Combat Mafia. I have never since used clues. So don't expect any hints in the writeup that indicate people. I only give hints as to which character made the kill through the use of flavor text.

What great timing. The game hasn't started for a pro-longed amount of time because someone with an important role/action did not send it in. I think it's safe to assume this is most likely a killing ability. However, most of the people who signed up have been fairly active in the other mafia they also signed up in, the Order of the Stick Mafia, except for a few such as The Wanderer. Coincidently, hours after the action has been sent in and the game started, he has decided to return.

Does anyone know what a 'territorial' cop is?

Territorial means that if someone targets them, there's a 50% chance that the person doing the targetting will be both roleblocked and killed.

Here's my roleclaim:

My character name's Bodyguard. My role is of a faith roleblocker.

As for my night action on night 0, I targetted Blatant and got a 'failed' result back.

Also, I'd like to apologise for my absence in Order of the Stick mafia. I've been a tad busy for the last couple of days with work and have been neglecting most of the mafias that I've joined. But things in RL seem to be easing a little, so my activity will be picking up soon.

In addition, may I inquire what the theme 'Madness Combat' is about? I have absolutely no idea what it is.

'Tis based on this flash series which I do not know the official name of, but all of its episodes start with "Madness ----" so I just called it Madness, because it's really madness. I never really understood it and mostly watched it just for the mindless murder of countless mindless people. Just google Madness Series or something similar and watch the 6 or 7 episodes.

Since I barely understand Madness, anyone knows if there really is a Bodyguard? Hmm, let's see what wiki has to say about this...

This reminds me of my old character in Madness Mafia I
This character was an immense hulking thing, whose name i cannot recall and has a super shottie of sorts, which fires 2 types of rounds. Often carries out kills for the mafia.

Of course it's not full-proof, I believe it is likely to catch a scum and may help reveal some of the game mechanics Rot implemented into the game. Now, IIRC DunC has not posted between the said days.
