I was looking forward to playing this campaign, but sadly it seems it could use more work. Since I did not finish the campaign, I don't think it would be fair of me to write a review, so here's just some comments.
The starting cinematic is a bit too basic. I know how hard it is to craft the cameras perfectly right, it can literally take hours for the inexperienced, but I believe the author only used a tracking effect on a transport plane which gave a long and uninteresting start.
The map design could use a bit of work. Knowing your inspiration was the mini-series, Band of Brothers, I'm sure you are aware of the lush landscape of France. This map did not seem quite that realistic. Adding to the effect was the fact that I could still see the British base, and the ton of German houses in the SE that I believe I was not suppose to see. It's possible to remove LOS for Allies in the editor, and Germans also do not actually need housing anyway.
Beyond anything I've said so far though, it was the fact that there were no objectives or real instructions as to what to do when I landed. I noticed a large garrison north of the LZ, but they were obviously too hard for me. And I noticed the small town in the SW, but my men died taking it with very little success. |

But how should we supposed to know that when there are no instructions given about that?[Edited on 07/22/04 @ 12:28 PM]

It's okay, But after words felt like a waste of time, Ther was no substance, just the same old kill the towers to unite your men, with an unexpected and small patrol to stop you, then take the Manor. AND THEN after taking the manor, you can get reinforcements that you don't need.

It is a shit of scenary. I downloaded it thinking it was good but it is not funny, the author has invented normandy like he wanted and all scenario is invented, is not like the real normandy, and is not like the real easy Company story. I havent a perfect english, excuse me.[Edited on 12/28/05 @ 05:58 PM]
