Did you wacht band of brothers? Did you like it? The answer is yes, it liked you. It is a trailer, which is the first campaign chapter(Currahee), of a future Band of Brothers Campaign. The campaign is being as a result hours of investigation, hours watching the TV serie, hours consulting the book and seeing real maps. The most real campaign about Easy Company is going on. The others chapters are being playables and the objectives will being dinemics:
- Conquest cities and bridges.
- Rescue allied soldiers behind enemy lines.
- Take medicines.
- Destroy canons batteries.
- Free a concentration camp.
- ¡And drink Hitler´s Champagne!!!!!
You could play the History, there are cinematics with TV dialogues (only wrotten, but if you want you can send me the audio and I will put on), authentics locations, original soundtrack( in this video there are no sounds because actually my sound target is broke) photos...
If you want you can email me to: muchasuvesdobles@hotmail.com saying me you want help me with audio and i will say you what parts i need :)
The war is beggining in 2005 summer...

[The following explanation is taken from Intrepid's review of Raus' Relief of Kiev]
In order to review this scenario I have decided to use the movie reviewing Guidelines found at Empire Earth Heaven, with several alterations.
- Plot -
Since movie scenarios are not actively played by the player, but only watched, you need to be the movie critic and give your opinion of the plot, of the content of the movie. Is the story believeable and interesting? Are the dialog lines corny, and the sort of thing that nobody would say, or cool and realistic?
- Visuals and Audio -
This category is called "Visuals" and refers not only to the scenery but also to the cinematography of the scenario, i.e. the camera shots and the lighting. Anything that you see on the screen, when reviewing a movie, counts in the Visuals category. If Audio has been used in the scenario it is in this section that its effect on the overall movie is taken into account. How good is the quality of the sounds? Are the sounds effective? Do they draw you into the movie?
- Exposition -
This category is called "Exposition" and refers to the part of the scenario that provides the background information needed to understand the characters and the action. Having all the background information you need, but not having it told in the most interesting way in the world, warrants a 3. The more interestingly the background information is told, the higher the score. For the most part, the exposition will be in the introductory text. If there is no introductory text (and hence, no written exposition), then it is expected to have the exposition in the beginning of the scenario itself, which is what you are supposed to judge by.
Plot will incorporate the score from Playability and Balance, Visuals and Audio will incorporate the score from Creativity and Map Design and Exposition will be the score for Story/Instructions.
[/end blatant plagerism]
Plot: 1.5/5 (or 3/10)
Yes, all the dialogue is taken directly from the Band of Brothers miniseries if I'm not mistaken. However, the way the cinematic was done precludes any sense of understanding of events at all, even for those who have watched BoB recently (such as me). The author jumped from event to event without pause to explain anything, resulting in complete and utter disjunction between events, being remote and distanced from each other in that special way that doesn't allow the viewer to easily and rationally connect them. He also left events, such as the excercise in the British countryside, incomplete.
Visuals and Audio: 1.5/5 (or 3/10)
The map design was wholly uninspired, there was very very little terrain mixing and many areas consisted of simply one terrain stretching on apparently forever with only a couple trees or a handful of buildings to break up the monotony. Even units were sometimes inconsistent, on the run up Currahee the men were those unarmed American soldiers at the beginning, GIs in the middle and ended the run being engineers. As for audio, there is not much. The least the author could have done was add in the sound of many people running to the run up Currahee instead of that dull marching sound. The sound of engineers brightly talking amongst themselves on the way back to camp was also odd, I personally doubt any of them would have been in any condition to to more than pant from breath.
Exposition: 2/5
The author throws the viwer into the story without pausing even momentarily to explain who some of these people are (for those who haven't seen BoB) or, as said before, connect events in any way. Also, there was no way to distinguish between a majority of the characters (most of them being GIs), even simply allowing key soldiers to be a different player (and thus color) would have been more effective than keeping them all one color. Different units would have helped as well (rangers, and French Infanterie look very alike to GIs while still remaining noticeably different).
Extra Comments:
- An utterly slipshod job, no doubt easily done in a couple hours. If you're gonna do BoB, do it justice by doing it RIGHT. |

I want do some comments about your review:
- Plot: I thought wasnt necessary explain what is happening and give my opininion of it. Maybe you have reason.
Audio: I said i have my sound target is broke, in the final version, when I have a new target, it will be sounds.
Visual: If a did jumps between actions was because I wanted tell all in a no larger time. I only show most important parts. And... if you have seen chapter 1 of BoB you would know all scenes arent connected. The sccene they are ingeneers they arent it, is supposed the have all things on their backs.
Exposition: you said I left some parts, it is true, I only did most important parts, just neccesaries to understand it. If you have watched the mini-serie you have no problem to understand it.
Map Design: You only must see that camera shows you. I forgot press "only cinematic" button and you can see all. You only must value the parts that cameras shows you. The scenario is small because I wanted have a smaller time of charge. |

"I thought wasnt necessary explain what is happening"
- then what's the point? a cinematic is supposed to tell a story. if there isn't any story or its badly told...
"If a did jumps between actions was because I wanted tell all in a no larger time. I only show most important parts"
- these most important parts mean nothing if there's nothing connecting/explaining them. just random, isolated episodes that don't tell any sort of story
"I only did most important parts, just neccesaries to understand it"
- it'd only be understood if the viewer has seen BoB. and even then its pretty difficult
"If you have watched the mini-serie you have no problem to understand it."
- what about everyone else?
"You only must see that camera shows you...You only must value the parts that cameras shows you"
- yes. and that's the score you get.
"The scenario is small because I wanted have a smaller time of charge"

its a good movie about band of brothers and i dont think it deserved that low of a score it i mean isnt a block buster hit but then again no empires dmw is supposed to be. i think that with the tools he used it was prettey good i would have given it a 3.5 an average score (no sound lowered the score but i know youre sound thing is broken) good recreation of band of brothers i recomend it to any one who hasnt seen band of brothers. just update it with the sound ASAP |

CHECK THE FORUMS FOR HELP
With that outa the way...Have you seen what you can do with the empires editor? This is nothing for what you can do. It looks like he did a very poor rush job on it. The least he coulda done is read some terrain turotials, or somthing, but.....uhh |
