I just played greece in a 3v3.
now, mind that we were only playing to epoch 5,
but in playing greece, this is what i discovered.

1. after building a dock, military ships were not available UNTIL I RESEARCHER MILITARY >>2<<.

2. after researching Military 2, the ships were available. (all other civs they are avail at mil 1).

THen, I noticed that I could not produce ANY stabile Units until I got to MILITARY >>3<<

Is this a bug? A fluke? or just normal for playing a game that lasts till age 5?
I have never seen this before when playing greece. did not know if it was just that game or if i just never noticed before.

i think this needs to be fixed.

that happened because you didn't have all the epochs.

Yes, when you reduce the ages all the tech requirements stretch. The Greeks are different because there requirements seem to be based on an age higher. Hence in a standard game, the level 2 column requires knowledge in age 1

have you noticed that the bants get EVERYTHING with just ONE military tech???
if you are bantu, and you do MIL 1, you will have ca and hc as well as lc. all other nations must wait till mil 2 to get ca and hc.

and that is independant of age chortened games!
