So I'm playing an Egypt campaign, and I'm starting to expand seriously away from anywhere near my home regions. I've taken all territories up to Kotais/Phraaspa, all of Asia Minor, and I'm working my way up the Greek Peninsula.
I'm starting to think that keeping my capital in Egypt might not be the best solution anymore and that I might run into serious law and order problems in Greece and especially Italy once I invade that.
I found a perfect capital calculator online, but of course it doesn't take into account population size, which is crucial-- cities with a population of 3,000 far away from my capital will be totally fine if I keep a couple of peasants in there, but add even a little of distance penalty to the 40,000-50,000 metropoleis in Egypt and they might just explode.
So what's the perfect capital for an Egypt faction that's taken over all of the East (Egypt, Seleucia, Pontus, Parthia, Armenia, Greece, parts of Macedon) and wants to expand Northwest and West?
I'm thinking like Kydonia or something, but I don't know.
