Barbarian Bash Tournament

Come out and show off your less civilized side in Rome: Total War Heaven's Barbarian Bash tournament featuring RTW t-shirts for the top three placers, and a cash prize for the first and second place winners.

When: Saturday the 30th of July at 12 noon EST (To find out what time this is where you live please check out the time converter)

Where: The Chat Lobby

General Information:
16 people max will be allowed to sign up. Only sign up if you're sure that you'll be able to make the date and time; all games will occur during that period so you should be prepared to play, at the max four games. Games will be single elimination; one loss and you're out. If you make it to the semi-finals and loose you'll play the other loser in the semi-finals for 3rd place. Doitzel will be hosting the tournament, and arranging matches after the first round of play so if you have any problems during the tournament or would like status updates he is the man to talk to. Signups will close on July 24th and a bracket will be posted.

To sign up:
Post your gamespy name, email address, general skill level and whether or not you're able to host games.

Rules:

  • Only barbarian civilizations may be used, barbarian includes, Gaul, Germania, Britannia, Spain, Dacia and Scythia, these are classified as barbarian because of their settlement type on the campaign map.
  • If both players choose the same civilization players must re-pick until they reach different civilizations.
  • 10,000 denarii limit unless another is agreed upon by both players
  • All games will be played on Scottish Highland unless another map is mutually agreed upon.
  • You may not use any more than 5 of the same unit.

    Prizes:
    1st: A RTW t-shirt and $20
    2nd: A RTW t-shirt and $10
    3rd: A RTW t-shirt

    You'd actually be much more likely to see me about at 12 AM EST than 12 PM... But we needed to make the tournmanet open to people with normal sleeping patterns.
