Cool! Just saw this on the main page!

I can't get the unit editor to work. Says:

"Component 'msflxgrd.ocx' or one of it's depenencies not correctly registered: A file is missing or invalid"

when you try to run the program.

That's odd, it worked fine for me.

I'd give you the creators email but I'm not sure he would be okay with it being released. Try contacting him at www.houseofjulii.com, his forum name there is in the Readme.

http://www.xerocreative.com/downloads/MSFLXGRD.zip Place the OCX in C:\Windows\System32.

Hi,

Well, I had the .ocx error and unzipped the file *.ocx into my windows\system32 directory. Now when I try to open export_decr_unit.txt it says "3706: provider cannnot be found." Do I need to somehow install this .ocx file and not just shove it in my system32 directory?

Thanks,
V'ger gone

Not quite sure, the file has been updated by the author however; try downloading the new version.

a booletproof method is to place the vb run files (the *.ocx) in the same directory as the editor's exe file, saves the hassle of registering the files.

huh, no edit button? quite embarassing to write boolet instead of bullet... sigh, i'm the kind of guy that edits my posts 3 times in a row usually.

Looks great. Still don't have Rome yet so apologies for any...technical difficulties, but the latest mod says it adds portraits for non-playable civs.

Does this mean they didn't have portraits in the first place? (and are the new ones up to standard? )

Great new download!

Only the Roman factions had them.

And yes, they're up to scratch.

Ah, very good about the latter, but as for the former, I have seen at least two screenshots featuring a Germanic and Celtic portrait. I can't find them online, but the Germanic one also has a description of the sacred grove of Donar.

The Celtic one has something about Eboracum (York) and a portrait of someone who looks more like a Gaul. Does this mean the playable factions at least have portraits, because that would be good.

Very nice mod (well, by the looks of it)!

I'm sending a mod that allows you to play the other civs in the historic scenarios.

Now the mail must be sent. And yeah I'm working already on my next project: Some new historical battles. Two ones are already done (without cinematics etc.): Marathon and Metaurus
