Its just an experiment so you start with 50mil denari and super generals/armies, which is pretty easily customized in the text file. Just make a copy of Imperial Campaign, rename it to whatever you want, and slap it in there. End turn of game was lengthened to 476AD from 14AD, doubt anyone will ever get that far without ruling the entire world for a few hundred years at least. Though, I would note that there will be no special events (like volcano eruptions) during the time period from 14AD to 476AD since its not specified in the events file. It uses the Julii family. Every Roman city has a family member nearby that can be put into it and theres a few young males about to come of age and a couple of free generals to fight with. I found the secret to combining family members or adding new ones is that: 1. Age of the oldest son or daughter must be at least 16 years below their father and mother IE Flavius is 47 and Faustina is 50 and Lucius is 31. This is because the oldest a family member can be before they start producing children is 16. The youngest Faustina could be if Lucius is 31 would be 47, the same as Flavius. 2. Age between any sons or daughters from there on down must be spaced by 2 or more years. So Lucius is 31, his next oldest brother is 29, his next oldest sister is 27, next oldest brother 25 and so on and so forth. 3. As it is already known, named family members/spys/admirals/diplomats must be listed in order of age from oldest to youngest in any list, excepting women, which can be listed in any order. 4. Names of any starting named family members, sons, or women must be unique within each faction and using names that are allowed for the faction. So you can have a Decius Maxentius in Julii and a Decius Maxentius in S.P.Q.R. but not two Decius Maxentiuses in Julii, including sons. Double names confuses the relatives lists. Any deviation from this age and naming pattern will cause the campaign to crash back to the campaign menu when you attempt to run it. Just about anything else can be freely edited and changed so long as you stay within the same format using tabs and spaces where necessary. (edit) Hmm, thats strange, seems to want to download it as a .html file. Ahh, I see why, these forums do a redirect, hmm, I'll put up a page with a link on it that I can link to from here. There we go, should be working now. [This message has been edited by LrdPhoenix (edited 10-21-2004 @ 00:24 AM).]
