I'm doing good in my campaign as the Julii. I've already finished the campaign objections, I own Europe and my only current enemy, the Brutii, is all but beaten.

Now, while preparing to take over the rest of the world, I hit the end turn button and all is fine, right up to scythia/rebels, when the game suddenly closes. No error message or anything, it doesn't freeze, it's just gone and I'm looking at my desktop. This happened yesterday, so I thought maybe something went wrong with the specific configuration of the factions, so I continued with a previous save game. Then all was well for a while, until the same thing happened again. I think it may have been in the same turn as before.

Can anyone give me any clue as what the problem might be an more importantly how to fix it? Because this is gloriously frustrating.
