As the title says, I'm rather bored at the moment, so I thought I'd revive a forum game I missed out on in OD in July. Basically, it's a sea battle, where you move your ships around and shoot other ships. You can choose between three classes of ship: Corvette, Frigate and Galleon.

Corvette:
7 Movement Points per turn.
2 cannons each side.
3 HP Stern, 4 HP Bow, 6 HP Sides.

Figate:
6 Movement points per turn.
4 Cannons each side.
4 Hp Stern, 6 HP Bow, 8 HP Sides.

Galleon:
5 Movement points per turn.
5 Cannons each side.
4 HP Stern, 7 HP Bow, 9 HP Sides.

The following actions may be used:
Move Forward.
Turn to Port (left for landlubbers).
Turn to Starboard (right for landlubbers).
Fire guns to Port.
Fire guns to Starboard.

Each action takes one movement point. Guns have a range of 2 squares (hit any ship up to the second square directly abeam). Each forward movement moves your ship one square forward and each turn turns your ship by 90 degrees. Gunnery gets better the closer you are. For a broadside to broadside attack, you have a 3/4 chance of hitting a target in the first square and a 1/2 chance of hitting a target in the second square. For a broadside to bow or broadside to stern attack, the chances are 1/2 and 1/4 respectively. The chances for each cannon are worked out seperately, and are determined by me tossing a coin.

When every player has made their move, I will move last in the turn. Be aware that I will not necessarily update the map after every turn. Ramming another ship will lose you 2 HP from the bow and you will lose all of your remaining movement points from that turn. The same applies to ramming the island. The map is below, movement is allowed in all squares expect those more than half covered by land.

Only the victor remains.

To enter, you need to post the name you will be fighting as (not necessarily your forum name), the name of your ship and its class. I can only accept 8 players, so first come first served. Every ship will have a colour, so you can tell them apart and they will all be placed as far apart as practically possible.

Entries and questions are open now. The game doesn't start until either we get 8 entries or we get bored waiting for 8, and I declare it open anyway.

Weaknesses are now highlighted in yellow and critical weaknesses in red. Destroyed ships are in black.

Turn to Starboard
Fire Guns to Port
Fire Guns to Port
Move Forwards

Remember, the map may not be up to date. I will put at the top of the map where it shows up until. If you are not the first to move after an update, try to ensure you are not ramming people accidentally (you lose HP in the bow) or firing your cannons into empty space (no penalty, but you look silly).

Game On!

Kills so far:
Captain Crassus has killed Grand Admiral Jax with a fine volley to the stern.

Admiral Tarquinius has blown Captain Blondbeard's bow off with an amazingly accurate series of volleys.

Captain Nelson has persisted in removing Admiral Ahm's bow.

Lord Doitzel has retaliated against Despicable Pirate Man, snding him to Davy Jones' Locker.

Captain Crassus has fired four fine volleys into Admiral Tarquinius' bow, giving him his second kill.

Captain Nelson has committed suicide by giving Lord Doitzel the easiest second kill possible.

Lord Doitzel has fired three good volleys, holing Captain Crassus' portside, giving him the ultimate victory.

Game Awards:
Most Kills: 3 (Lord Doitzel).
Most Accurate Gunnery: Admiral Tarquinius.
Most Suicidal Move: Captain Nelson.
Most Useless: Captain Blondbeard, Admiral Ahm.
Overall Winner: Lord Doitzel.

Sounds fun. But yakcamir, you've mixed up bow and stern HP.

Right, that's 8 players. The game will start as soon as I post the updated map with the ships on.

Doikie and Stone, I recommend you use all of your movement points (5 and 7 respectively).

I didn't kill Jax. I haven't moved yet, lmao fired three salvoes into his stern.

Yes I do think all the ships lack a few hitpoints, but this is the first time I have tried this game, so I may do it again in a few weeks with more hitpoints, more players and a bigger map.
