Maiden Axes are an infantry axe unit for Scythia, recruitable from a 3rd tier barrack and up. They not only carry the armour-piercing axes of their horsebourne sisters, they also throw them before engaging in melee.
The Maiden Axes give Scythia a strong infantry unit in the mid-to-later game, ideal shock troops for taking walls, storming gates, and street-fighting.
Version 1.1 includes new sprites, to correct a problem where the Maidens may appear to sink into the ground at certain distances.
Deleted previous version of modpack so that only the most up-to-date version remains.

Dude was wondering wether u culd make a Spartan Hoplite but with a Armoured Hoplite Head and more realistic shield?
I just cant find it anywhere else lol thx

I am sorry, but I have far to many other things I am working on. If you do some hunting you should be able to find what you are looking for. The Spartan Royal Guard unit in XGM sounds like what you want. Download it and just pull the unit out of the rest of the mod.

Good job SubRosa, a worthy addition to Scythia who has little foot infantry as it is.
