This mod for RTW 1.5 adds many new units to the game. It aims to fill gaps in unit rosters, giving factions access to unit types they did not have before. It uses mod:switch so it will not affect your original game files.
I am open to any feedback, on faults, balancing, suggestions, even spelling mistakes. Just do not come blabbering to me about historical accuracy. As a historian myself, I am aware of how apocryphal most of these units are. AUP presents a 'what if' situation.
What if the Parthians had developed an elite core of heavy infantry?
What if the Britons had utilised cavalry to a greater extent?
What if the Greeks had used horse archers as a counter to those they faced?

I love this mod, but can you point out the differences in 1.1b and 1.1? Because strangely they look the same.

1.1b was a minor amendment to 1.1 which fixed a few errors in the uploaded files.

Hey, is there any way to work this with Steam? I tried to do what the instructions say but I keep getting 'Failed to Find Steam' when I try and launch it.
Scratch that, I just changed the launch options.

This is a great mod. iM really happy to use it.
But there is a problem.. i dont know if it is me but when you try to use Poeni Legionaries, the game is crashed just before the game begins. i dont know how to fix it :(
