Hi all,

Here is a work in progress shot of my competition map, still some work to do on the landcape, but I'll fine-tune that once I'm happy with the scripting. I've gone through a process of making several landscapes before hitting on the one I think best fits the fantasy theme - so I now have some nice-looking alternative maps that I've converted to freebuilds for now.

His Dubiosity knows no bounds...

Don't leave too many landscape details for the ending though
From my experience I know that minor aspects can affect (more or less) the whole gameplay/balance.

True! But I think the main things I want to concentrate on are the details around the coast, so hopefully that shouldn't affect things too drastically.

I have made good progress and now have a script, a background story and a way of getting the 'fantasy' theme into the map which I hope is 'original', though it wouldn't surprise me if anyone else had come up with something similar.

I'm at the fine tuning and play testing stage now...
