Just me messing around, getting some nice results early on:
I'll be writing a tutorial on the values needed to make Lava, pretty restrictive in what you can do as it isn't a transparent "liquid". However ice is a little more fun...
This is my crude attempt to give the illusion of a frozen surface with ice forming underneath. The great thing about this is it isn't an illusion, the ice is actually terrain under the surface so you can sculpt the ice and make it look more natural. The lower the terrain the more blue the water gets, again a tutorial will be written explaining how to do this.
