This must be one of the funniest AIs in the game, other than the Sultan. King Philip is snobbish but weak at the same time, with a very funny accent. He even uses lipstick!
As an enemy, he is of average difficulty (though he is considered weak if you go by the yellow dots). His knights are very bothersome and will seriously damage your economy if you're not careful. As an ally, he will never defend you or attack an enemy you ask him to, but he does send you goods quite willingly.

A new character is always cool but unlike every one else, he builds only in one shape/type of castle which means he ends up building silly things when it is involved with the terrain.
