This map has been sitting on my vista for quite a bit now (say, two three months?) and it's actually one of my very first maps and I thought it would make a nice ending for my Greco-Persian war series, after my previous map (the siege of Olynthus) but I guess I completely forgot bout it. I have not made any changes to it since, but if you wish me to update it, I will :)
With a mass force of over a thousand and a 1/2 combined army of Greeks the player must fight back an enormous Persian force of at least 15000, (No I am not lying, unless some don't show up on the screen) to hold the plains of Plataea. Simple?
If your lord perishes, the Greeks (you) lose.
If you wipe out all the Persians, plus gain an amount of gold and stone to fortify the town of Plataea, you win.
The main key to survival is manipulation of the drawbridges. If you leave all of them open, you will notice most of the enemy heads toward the drawbridges on the right. If you close all the drawbridges the Persians head towards the opening of the wall to the left of the map. No matter which bridge you close the enemy will always take the closest opening to your lord.
Plus, the fun thing about this map is that once the Persians reach the Greeks your desktop speakers should spew out a continual line of cries until the bulk of the enemy army is annihilated.
Please comment and review, but not too harshly
