For my 10th Skirmish i wanted to do an unusual map with a freaky design and a nice gameplay.
So I decided for this one.
First i wanted to do this without the fords so that you have to fight from the middle to the outward. But this didnt work because the enemy wouldnt attack you (the units dont walk ways longer than one map (400) but the way is even longer (about 3-4 maps)) So finally i put some fords into and it worked. I tested it with most of the AIs and all castles (excluding the big ones from Wolf and Wazir) worked well maybe some opponents wouldnt build up a tower or one building but their economy and troop building works fine. Theres enough stone and enough iron I placed so, that the AIs use it.
I think farmland wouldnt be the problem ;P

This map caught my eye a few days ago but I was too lazy to log in to comment :D
The map design itself is unique, and I can imagine how much fun the gameplay would be. Congratulations for such an original map, this is hard to do after all these years.
I bet it would be hardest to be at the center and have everyone else against you. lol
