I think Byss is where Palpatine had all of his clones so he could come back to life. Don't know about the other one.

Bespin would be important bc of the gas mining. Mon Calamari bc most of the Rebel fleet comes from there.

it says in the star wars.com thing that the mon cal became the HEART of the Rebel fleet.

Just FYI there were very few Mon Cal ships... but they were the most powerful Rebel ships.

Kashyyyk because in episode 3 they said its important for trade routes or something. Plus Wookiees, the Empire likes Wookiee slaves.
Admiral Ackbar designed the B Wing, so Mon Cal probably has some useful Rebel fleet stuff about.

Just to let you know, Bilbringi is a major shipyard for the New Republic. It's used in Timothy Zahn's masterpice, the Thrawn trilogy. I don't know what it was before the New Republic; perhaps an Imperial shipyard.
