THE ADVENT OF DARKNESS THREAD BY /==DarkBeing==\

I am the Dark Lord of the Sith,
Ultimate strength in the Universe.
I understand my feelings and control them,
And fear is my ally.
I am of the Everlasting,
I am the Darkness,
The Eternal Night that spans the distance between the stars.
I cannot be overcome for there is none greater than I .
The Light of the Stars may push back the Night,
But in the end all things are returned to me,
I of the Darkness,
I am the Lord of the Night.
Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion.
Through Passion I gain strength.
Strength Gives me power.
Through power I achieve victory.
Through victory my chains are broken.
The Force shall set me free.

Welcome to Advent of Darkness! Here in this thread the greatest of the Sith Order are unleashed upon an unsuspecting galaxy, already recovering from years of war and turmoil. Will the few remaining heroes that can stop them halt their march to power, or will the galaxy fall under the shadow of fear and oppression once more?

Current Situation of Galactic Events:

Some time has passed since the DARK LORDS OF THE SITH were released from the Primeval Abyss. By the power of the Dark Side they have restored their powers and are now ready to take on the galaxy...one diabolical scheme at a time.

After the attack on Mon Calamari, the with the MALIGNANT ORDER OF THE LIDLESS EYE hid beneath the ocean depths, where they were later discovered by the DARK LORDS OF THE SITH. EXAR KUN had discovered that Khalizad is a descendent of the Dark Lord REVAN, and that he may possess the key to finding a mysterious site known as the STAR FORGE.

After escaping the system, the Sith met up with NAGA SADOW, who provided them with a small Hutt fleet. They now travel to Corellia to follow the clues to victory. Behind them, a group of SHADOW JEDI follow in their wake, eager to learn more about the Dark Side, but perhaps with devious plans of their own...

CLIFTON UPLORD was elected Chief of State of the New Republic. But the celebration was cut short when JAINA SOLO kidnapped his wife and child. He has now vowed to restore the New Republic's capital to CORUSCANT, whatever the cost.

Meanwhile, DARTH PERSIA, perhaps the most hunted of the Sith, prepares his own plans by assembling an army on the forgotten world of TARSIS. By allying with an organization called the BLACK NOVA, Persia hopes to fulfill his dreams of galactic conquest. But standing in his way is a larger crime group called the BLACK NEBULA, which has now thrown its resources behind the Sith.

The JEDI now scramble to prevent total disaster. LUKE SKYWALKER and MARA JADE have confronted Jaina, but are kidnapped in the process. KYP DURRON now leads the NR's Elite StarForce in a chase after Jaina and the Sith Weapon, the MASTER.

The Dark Tide is approaching rapidly. Who will it drown first?

Ronnlan became one of the Empire’s top interrogators and pioneered many of the cruel practices still enacted under Imperial rule. Seduced by promises of power, Ronnlan deserted after the Battle of Endor to join the ranks of the Malignant Order of the Lidless Eye and the brothers never saw each other for years after. OOC: With this post, I welcome you all to ADVENT OF DARKNESS!

PROLOGUE

Coruscant. It was called the Gem of the galaxy, the planet whose name was associated with the rich, powerful, and heroes of ancient and modern lore. But this very night, Coruscant would become known as a haven for evil.

It had been 27 years since the Rebel Alliance destroyed the Death Star at the battle of Yavin. The Empire had fallen, and from its ashes arose the New Republic. But this Republic was plagued from the start by greed and treachery, as well as disputes over its ability to rule a galaxy of trillions of beings. Civil wars soon followed, leaving the New Republic in shambles. But after all the fighting had finally ceased, the galaxy grew tired of destruction, and longed for peace. And for now there was peace, with the Great Treaty signed on the Gem of the galaxy itself. Coruscant’s leadership was divided among 5 planets: Corellia, Eriadu, Naboo, Mon Calamari, and Bothawui. But this new leadership council was quite corrupt, and their leader Clifton Uplord of Corellia, often ignored pleas to strengthen the presence of the Jedi throughout the galaxy in case another great evil arose. Because of the council’s ignorance, not many Jedi were present on Coruscant, or in the surrounding sectors. Luke Skywalker spent much of his time away from the capital, attempting to strengthen the ranks of the Jedi himself. He did not realize that the true danger would come from within…

Because for the last decade, a powerful following of Dark Side Cultists, led by a fanatical man named Kraq Khalizad, had emerged. They were known as the Malignant Order of the Lidless Eye, and together they formed the largest Sith following since the days of the Empire. Although not necessarily Dark Side Adepts, members of the Order came from all across the galaxy, seeking truth within the universe. This truth they found in the Dark Side of the Force, and its most powerful members, the Sith.

Khalizad’s Order had collected over the past decade a remarkable collection of Sith Artifacts that were thought to have been destroyed during the age of the Republic, but the greatest was an ancient obelisk that was said to connect to the Primeval Abyss, a source of the Dark Side Power. Many times Khalizad and the Order had used the obelisk to ‘experience’ the Abyss, not knowing how much chaos their dabbling in unknown evils would cause.

For the Primeval Abyss was not just a source of Dark Side power…it was the place where the most powerful Dark Lords of the Sith were went to when they met their demise…

Temple of the Forgotten Ones, Coruscant

Kraq Khalizad, leader of the Malignant Order of the Lidless Eye, awoke. He seen the same vision yet again, the vision that had filled his dreams ever since Zizeck Yamous had brought the great Obelisk back from the forgotten world of Rattatack. The vision had intensified when the Order’s scientist, Zor Trahn had discovered that the obelisk could connect to the Primeval Abyss itself, and had found a way to decript the obelisk’s symbols and engage in the immersion ritual. When members of the Order bowed before the Obelisk and chanted the correct words, the obelisk would glow, and unleash a wave of dark energy that would fill every member of the Order (for a short period of time), with the power of the Dark Side.

They had all become dependent on this energy to sustain them, so much that many of the senior members had noted that their physical features were beginning to degenerate. This was most unfortunate, but could easily be fixed with the bacta baths that the Order had been able to…borrow..from some of Coruscant’s leading hospitals. But the vision still filled Khalizad’s head.

In it, he saw the great Obelisk…but instead of it emitting the normal darkside bursts, he saw something else…he saw…a portal…but what lay beyond he could only guess. Perhaps the portal would at last grant the Malignant Order the ability to command the Force itself, and with it destroy the enemies that stood in their way! But Kraq realized that as the Supreme Diviner, it was his job not to dwell on dreams. It was time to perform the daily ritual and awaken the Obelisk once more.

When Kraq entered from his private quarters, he saw that all the members of the Order were present. They were all on their knees looking upon the dark obelisk that towered above them. Kraq walked up to the obelisk put his hands on the correct indentations, muttering the chant over and over like he remembered. The others soon followed suit, and the chanting grew louder and louder. The obelisk soon began to darken, and the incantations on it soon began to glow a strange green. The power of the Dark Side began to emit itself from the obleisk and Kraq extended his arms to let it flow through him.

Suddenly, he heard a cry of pain, and saw that one of the senior members, Plon Kleegan, had suddenly fallen to the ground. A pool of blood was quickly spreading out from his head. It was obvious that his body had been overloaded by the immense power of the Dark Side. No matter. Only the strong would live to carry out the name of the Sith. It was then that one of the other members, Mira Pestage, pointed out in horror that Kleegan’s blood was being absorbed into the obelisk itself.

Suddenly, new inscriptions began to appear on the obelisk…they read…

UPON SACRIFICE THE DARK DOOR OPENS, THE DEAD ARISE, AND THE POWER RETURNS. UPON THIS WORLD WE RETURN. UPON BLOOD WE ARE DRAWN TO THE DARKNESS. RISE DARK LORDS. VICTORY IS AT HAND.

And then an enormous portal opened…and Kraq Khalizad realized that it was the same as in his vision! The Malignant Order of the Lidless Eye was about to be rewarded for their efforts!

Suddenly the portal expanded, and a figure stepped through. Followed by another, and still more continued to step through! They were dark figures, their faces covered by dark cloaks. They remained shadowy in the darkness, and did not look up. The portal still remained opened, but it appeared to have stabilized.

One of the figures stepped forward, a bony hand extending out from beneath the cloak, to touch Khalizad. It was then he began to whisper the words that Khalizad knew would mark his destiny forever:

“You have freed our bretheren. But the abyss has drained all of us. Our powers are not what they once were. Restore them, and the galaxy shall belong to you and your descendents until the end of time. The Dark Side commands us--We are the Sith.”

And then the Dark Figures all knelt in meditation, and their hoods were thrown off, revealing their identities.

Naga Sadow.

Exar Kun.

Marka Ragnos.

Darth Bane.

Freedon Nadd.

Darth Persia.

And the figure who had spoken to Khalizad….
Emperor Palpatine.

The Dark Lords of the Sith had returned. But their powers were weakened, drained by the fight they had had endured to keep their spirits from being destroyed by the forces of the Primeval Abyss.

But this did not matter to Khalizad for now…it had happened…the Age of the Sith would come once more!

Onward into darkness…

OOC: Sith Players. Your power is extremely weak for the moment, and will take a very very long time to recover. However there is a way for all of us to regain our power at once…but that will be revealed at another time….

Yes I am really excited for this

Exar Kun

Darkness, cool, silent, a cloak where one could hide, where the dark deeds were done in secret. Here his strength lied, here in the darkness he found power. In the Darkside of the force, Kun closed his eyes and drew in the darkside, he felt it swarming over him, like millions of intelecutal insects, covering him in power, a power he could use to free, free this galaxy from the hated Jedi. He opened his eyes and looked at his brethren, the other Dark Lords, who sat, floating barley above he ground, meditating, drawing in strength, so that their weakened bodies could walk. Yes, sweet and senial, the abyss had drained them all badly, but that mattered not, power was in the darkside, and with it they would prevail and conquer!

Jaina Solo

Jaina sat up with a scream, a cold shiver slowly iced its way down her back and her body went rigid as a spasm shook it. She quickly stood to her feet, groping in the dark, then she sat down and began to cry, a sense of loss swept over her.

The door peeked open and a voice whispered, "Jaina?"

She quickly looked up, wiping the tears from her face, "y-yes Jacen."

"Are you all right?" he asked, slowly opening the door and slipping through.

"Did you feel it?" asked Jaina in a hopeless whisper, "Did you feel the evilness, the darkness, it came from no where and consumed me, and the laughing!" she barried her head into her hands and sobbed, "The evil laughing, of something long dead but awakened. I don't know Jacen but I feel something awful, evil, something that should remain hidden is reborn."

Jacen stood there, then gently took her into his arms, hugging her, she hugged him feircly back and the bond which only comes from the force fell of Jaina, she felt jacen using the force to push strength into her, and slowly her breathing calmed and she felt herself returning to normal. "What do you think made that, Jacen?" asked Jaina, "What cause that stir in the force?"

Jacen shrugged, "I am not sure, it oculd have been many things, the force is always in action, we can always contact Uncle Luke tomorrow and ask him about it, if it will make you feel better."

"Did you feel it Jacen?" asked Jaina her eyes wide in fear, "Did you feel it?"

Jacen hesitated right outside the door, "I'm not quite sure, I think I did, it was almost a famliar presence though, like something we have sensed, but the familar presnece was acopanied with odd ones..." his voice trailed off and he shook his head, "I'm not sure, whatever it was, I pray it will not hurt us in any way."

____________________________________________________________

Okay hope that was okay StormTrooper88 that I brought Jacen in, no clue where they are if you want to decided that. Oh and the familar presence they felt was that of Exar Kun, since both Jaina and jacen were at the temple when he was causing trouble many years back. Hope it was okay!

Temple of the Forgotten Ones

Zizeck Yamous stared up at the Sith Lords that were meditating in darkness. Never in his wildest dreams had he pictured that he would be standing here today! The Sith Lords would help bring justice to a galaxy gone insane.

Yamous was one of the most well-known smugglers in the galaxy during the time of the Empire, but with its collapse he found that business had fallen drastically, and slowly he felt life was becoming useless. The fateful day he had met Kraq Khalizad on a random trip to Coruscant had proved to be one of the most memorable. Using his smuggler connections, Yamous travelled the galaxy for years, searching for clues pertaining to the whereabouts of ancient Sith artifacts. He had slowly brought them back to Khalizad and the Order, and was rewarded with respect and power.

But finding the Obelisk on Rattatack, he remembered the journey well. He had to climb a mountain, to an ancient Temple, but without help from any of the natives. They believed the Obelisk was sacred. But no sacred artifact of the Sith should simply lie in obscurity! Yamous knew it would be the find of the a lifetime...and he knew that finding it was worth everything to him.

Yamous looked down at his hands. They were still pale and cracked, but had for the most part healed ever since his last immersion in the power of the obelisk. But the release of the Sith Lords made him forget about the first immersions. To bask in their presence was...enlightening.

Unity Palace, Coruscant

Unity Palace, what a joke! The renamed Imperial Palace was far from unified, thought Clifton Uplord, leader of Coruscant's planetary council.

Uplord looked out from the palace and sighed. For the second time today, Naboo's represenative, Tamika Ryols had objected to the idea of converting the ancient 'Art Murals' near Coruscant's power factories into additional electrical superhousers. By the Sith, that woman was impractical! She and the man from Eriadu, Thorn Tyrra. Eriadu was such a far away planet from here, why did they have to have a represenative on the capital planet?

It baffled Uplord, the endless confusion of politics. But he had more to worry about than the matters of simple politics. There were reports of riots on Corellia, his home planet. He had a family there to worry about. But he knew the best job he could do was 'serve' them here on Coruscant.

Politics was annoying at times, and Uplord sighed again. How he wished the New Republic had just let him be an Admiral in their fleet instead of taking such a boring job.

Surely nothing could happen on Coruscant, the most secure planet in the galaxy?

The New Jedi Academy, Coruscant

Luke was standing in a Coruscant that was barely recognizable. It was devastated. His vision flashed from smoking subcities, slave labour, to images of his family in pain. Force storms raged in a fury unseen since the Emperor's time over Coruscant, lighting the shattered streets and walkways of the city-planet. But, far off, he could see a malignant light. The old Imperial Palace, resurrected into the huge fortress it once was... and from it, evil laughter. He sudden realized they'd found him too.

Luke awoke with a start, in a sweat. He looked over at his loved one, and saw from her grimace that she was too, indeed, having the dreams too.

"Awake, my love, there is a dark force afoot."

Random Dark Alley, Coruscant

Shadow saw someone nearby, and was about to attack. He could easily slice the person in half without ever revailing himself and steal the credits the person owned. Then he could buy new parts for his shoddily built body, but a presence startled him and allowed his prey to get away.

After a minute or two, Shadow recovered. He sensed a presence from long ago. He sensed a reawakening of many dark energies, but the only one that he really cared about was a very familiar one. The darkness that created him and all other shadow droids, the darkness that gave him his power, the darkness that gave him life again, and the darkness that tried to control him.

"This is impossible, he died long ago. There is no way he can come back, it isn't possible! I will not become his servant once again, I must always be ready for his power to try and gain control. He controlled me through the dark energy he gave me, I took control of that dark energy and destroyed his control over me. I need to be ready, through the force he might try to recall his servants and I must make sure to not become his servant once more," Shadow thought.

OOC: Everyone else is having their character be alert to this, so why not mine? Palpatine controlled the shadow droids so I think my character would notice his presence since his power used to control him.

Okay light blue, got it.

Vira Vundlrer

Vira sat still, letting the light bathe over her body in many shades of gold and white. The light seemed to go through her, entering her body and warming the smallest cell until it glowed wiht life and the force. The Force. It surrounded us, it bound us, just as Master Skywalker had said, she knew it to be true and exceptedf it, knowing the force was in everything. With that knowledge she entered farther into the force, entered into it till she seemed to be swimming in it.

She slowly stood up and looked at the light that surrounded her, she was in The Room of Crystals in the New Jedi Accademy, and she noticed whith a glance outside, it was getting very late. She quickly walked out of the room and down the halls, she had better get to bed and get some much needed rest, or she would be a mess tomorrow.

She quickly found her room and after checking a few things was about to lay down when a picture flashed into her mind, she saw six men, robbed in dark cloaks, they were wlaking on the sky of Coruscant and from thei hands rained destruction, people fell, mothers bursting into flame as they clutched their stuggling infants, men trying to fight back but swept away, then a face entered her mind, she couldn't make it out but it seemed to be laughing at her has she slowly fell, fell into the darkness of eternal death.

Vira sat up, shaking, sweat running down her head, her shoulders heaving as she desperatly tried to calm her self, she focused inward, muttering a spell and the calmness of the force fell on her. She took a couple of deep breaths, letting the force be her strength. Then she stood to her feet and grabbed her rob which she through over he soldiers and quickly left the room. Other people were coming out of their rooms, fear of the unknown on their faces, fear of what they had just experienced. Vira saw it was morning and head for the Main Meditating chambers. Many Jedi were already there and more were arriving. Some looked pale, other shaken, and some with the determination that nothing would scare them.

Master Skywalker was in the room trying to get people to settle down. Vira concentrated on the force and suddenly people in the room began to rise in the air, immeidetly silence fell on the crowd and Vira gently let the people touch the ground. Master Skywalker gave a slow smile in her direction then turned to adress the Jedi. "There is a disturbance in the force," he said, "I know you have all felt it now..."

____________________________________________________________

Okay on a minor note Vira isn't much for use of a lightsaber, she acctually sucks at that. But she has a great measure of the force when it comes to lifting objects and force pushes and deflecting things with the force.

Temple of the Forgotten Ones

Kraq Khalizad moved towards the mechanized Sith warrior that stared at him with cold, cybernetic eyes.

He bowed gracefully and said,

"I am Kraq Khalizad, Supreme Diviner of the Maligant Order of the Lidless Eye. And we have set you free."

The Mechanized being nodded slowly. Suddenly voices began to fill Khalizad's head.

How do we know you are not one of the Jedi? a voice that came from nowhere.

Surely, Exar you must understand that a Jedi would not summon us, the greatest enemies they have ever faced? Another voice.

Naga Sadow, a pleasure to see that you too have been freed from the Primeval Abyss. I agree with you that the Jedi would not try such a pathetic or dangerous act. A third voice! Each different from the other!

Freedon Nadd, so you too have escaped. I believe that this mortal is what he says he is. I believe the Sith can trust him for our needs. The voice that Kraq guessed belonged to Naga Sadow again.

"We of the Lidless Eye are devoted to the Sith! We have spent years studying your culture, learning of the Dark Side! We have collected your books, your artifacts!" Khalizad said to the group of meditating figures, knowing they could only answer in his head.

"Obviously, since you discovered MY obelisk. said yet another voice. This one was rough, yet commanding. Khalizad guessed it belonged to Marka Ragnos.

"Gentlemen. It is best we conserved our energy. We are still weak. I suggest that our friend Khalizad find a way to restore our power. I am having a hard enough time maintaining this conversation.. A more civil voice, that of Darth Bane.

"Agreed. I am sure that such devoted followers of the Sith Order can find a way to deliver the Darkness to us once more. Palpatine.

Khalizad knew what he must do.

He turned to the members of the Lidless Eye and spoke in a loud voice. They had heard him talking to the air, but could not hear what was being spoken to him.

"Members of the Order! The Sith command us to go out and find a way to restore their power! Scour the ancient records, and those of Coruscant itself! Go out and find what we need! May the Dark Side be with you."

Khalizad watched as members of the Order scattered from the room. The voices in his head had fallen silent now.

The Sith were once again resting...

Anakin awoke with a start, flashes of his dream still upon him. Even as he tried to remember it, the remaining threads of image drained away, leaving Anakin with nothing more than a sick feeling in his stomach. He dressed quickly in a simple tunic and left his quarters.

As soon as he entered the audience chamber he knew something was wrong.

"There has been a great disturbance in the force," said Master Skywalker.

In the skies of Coruscant

As evening fell upon the capital world's administrative district, a sleek black airspeeder purred through the darkening skies. Emblazoned on the side of the air limo was the chrome-finished crest of the Naboo, signifying the special status of the craft as the personal transport of the Planetary Representative of that world, Tamika Ryols.

Apart from the dedicated driver-droid, only two beings were present in the vehicle. One was the tall, slender Representative Ryols herself. The other was a man of medium build and sporting a thin moustache, sitting with his hands clasped before him over his lap. Upon his light grey tunic he wore the crest of Eriadu, as he was none other than Thorn Tyrra, Representative of that Outer Rim world.

"What do you expect from Uplord," the Naboo was saying, "He is a soldier by profession. He doesn't understand the political and social realm as we do."

Tyrra nodded his assent. Ryols had recently led a revolt against a plan to transform parts of Coruscant's cultural heritage into power stations. She had cited the recent destruction of so much history and legacy as the reason to preserve that which remained. As a close ally, both politically and geographically, Tyrra had felt obliged to second her motion of censure. This had, obviously, raised some ire from Uplord.

"I imagine," the Eriaduan began cautiously, "that our presence on the capital, never mind our political influence, is something of an inconvenience to him."

Tamika Ryols considered this. "Until we reestablish the Senate, he'll just have to put up with us."

Tyrra smiled, but inwardly his thoughts turned to a rather crucial matter: How far would they enjoy the patience of the Head of the Council? And for how long?

The speeder continued into the glittering night.

Temple of the Forgotten Ones, Coruscant

"At last!" exclaimed Naga Sadow. He raised his red insectoid hands towards the skies and spoke in an ominous voice. "I have been a mere spirit for longer than any except my master Marka Ragnos could imagine. Now I am free of the confines of the Abyss! I have flesh once again!"
His arms raised, Sadow called out to the dark side in his mind. Like an echo in a void, he could hear nothing but his own thoughts. The Diviner called Khalizad had spoken the truth. The Dark Lords of the Sith had been reborn, only to be blocked from the Dark Side. They were weak.
Sadow was a member of the ancient Sith race. The ancient Sith were humanoid with red skin and insectoid features. Before the ancient Sith learned of the Dark Side, they practiced an art known as "Sith Magic", would did not require the force. Sadow knew that himself and Ragnos could use this to help empower the other Dark Lords.

-

Zor Trahn was thrilled. Ever since he was a teenager on Vandor 3, Zor had dreamed of unlocking the secrets of the Dark Side. As the scientist of the Order, he had done much more than that. The Dark Lords of the Sith were free.
Vandor 3 was near Coruscant, and Zor had brown hair like a typical Vandorian. He also wore a black vest most of time.
"My lords" said Zor, advancing towards the Sith and bowing. "I am as glad as you that you are free. I am sure there is much I can learn from you!"
"There will be time for learning later, though I understand your eagerness" said Naga Sadow. "Myself and Lord Ragnos can still use Sith magic, and Darth Persia has his... mechanical abilities. The other Sith must be empowered as well!"
"I know of a Sith holocran containing ancient information" said Zor. "It is held in a reaserch center here on Coruscant, but it is well gaurded!"
"Say no more" said Sadow, nodding. He turned to Ragnos. "Master, we should retrieve it. It may contain the key to Dark Side empowerment!"

Anakin sought out his brother Jacen to ask him about the darkness. The turbolifts were busy at this point, so Anakin levitated himself down to Jacen's room and climbed in through the window.

Jacen wasn't there, so Anakin used the force to locate his brother. Jacen was in Jaina's room, on her bed, comforting her.

"You guys felt it too?" asked Anakin.

Exar Kun

Exar floated, meditating, trying to keep him self from slipping into the abyss of unconsiouness that threatened with every passing moment to overwhelm him. He was weak, very weak as were all the Sith Lords, talking in ones mind was as far as communicating could go. The Abyss had drained their strength pass anything most of them had ever felt, feeling weak was not something most of them ever related to.

Exar slowly clenched his hands feeling the amulets on his hands, one his, given to him by the Sith and the other belonged to Ulic, his old padawan who had betrayed him to the Jedi. With these Amulets Exar could unleash huge amounts of pure energy, powerful enough to destroy Jedi, Buildings, and even ships. But to use them he first needed energy. With a breath he struggled to draw in more power from the dark side but felt it hard, he had to get power, or he was nothing but a weak doll sitting here.

And when he had power he would kill the Jedi, Luke Skywalker, Jain and Jacen Solo, Streen, Dorsk 81, Caligah, and all the other students who had imprisoned him, who had destroyed his spirit, he would also kill Kyp Durron, that weak selfish human who had been to insoficent, to weak to do everything Exar command, oh yes he would die. And Exar would get him ready. Exar would make sure he screamed, but for now he must rest, rest until a way could be found to give him energy, energy so he could conquer and destroy all!

Jaina Solo

Jacen was about to close the door when Anakin came walking in, he pushed the door opened and asked, "Did you guys feel it?"

They both nodded, "Yes we did, and at least of the presences we felt seemed oddly famliar, like we had met whatever they were before, it sounds wierd but whatever created the stir in the force knew us."

Jacen nodded in his calm like manner but Anakin turned his head to the side and gave her a wierd look, on her father would sometimes give them when they said something totally dumb. "Met them, I doubt that you had met them, whatever they are or it is they are evil beyond evil, and what have you guys ever met that was that evil."

Jacen and Jaina looked at each other then Jaina spoke up, "We did acctually meet the Emperor but he was evil, werne't we in mom's belly when he captured us?"

"Yea," said Jacen, "And then there was Exar Kun, and Hethir, they bother had force powers and were extremly evil."

"And there were the Nght Sisters who captured us and took us to the shadow accedmey, along with Brakiss."

"So many..." whispered Jaina, "It could have been some of them."

Jacen slowly shook his head, "I don't think it was Brakiss, he wasn't strong enough to create that kind of a stir, Hethir was killed by Waru so I doubt it was him."

"What about the Night Sisters?" asked Jaina.

Jacen hesitated then said, "I don't think so, they are evil but don't command the same respect as the presenses we felt."

"And the Emperor's dead," said Anakin, trying to get his input into the conversation.

"But he's come back quite a few times to challenge us," said Jacen.

"Well Exar is dead to, we destroyed his spirit, I doubt it was him, but then who can it be? I know I knew at least someone who made those disturbances."

"What about Waru, we was evil, maybe he came back from whatever galaxy he was from," said Anakin.

Jacen shook his head, looking older as he spouted his wisdom, "No, waru wanted to get back to his glaxy bad I doubt it was him."

"Maybe a non force user created the disturbance, like Dala, or a Moff or Warlord," suggested Jaina.

"Possibly," said Jacen with a slight nodd of his head, "Though that would mean they have created a weapon or something, or they did something major, it has to be something big for us to feel it."

"Uhhhhh... guys," said Anakin, "I forgot to tell you that there is a meeting going on in the Main Chamber, about the disturbance."

Jaina and Jacen were up in a flash, Jaina grabbed her robe, and Jacen ran to his room to throw his own before they all hurried down to the chamber. Uncle Luke was speaking and they could hear his voice rising and flowing, as he spoke about what they had felt. "We needn't worry," he was saying, "The Jedi will fight this threat, and continue on, we always have and we always will. We go the way of the force, not the way of anger and impatience but of the force."

Suddenly Kyp jumped onto the platform where Master SKywalker was and whispered into his ear, Streen was soon up beside, him the mans white hair floating around him as it always did. Streen, who had trmendous power over the weather always seemed to be walking in a cool breeze, it gave the old man a pleasnet, and freindly look.

As Kyp talked to Luke his face seemed to pale, he gave a few nods and dissmissed the assembly, Jaina and her brothers went up to Luke and asked, "What is it Uncle Luke?"

Luke hesitated then said, "Streen and Kyp say the recognize one of the presences in the disturbance, they say it was of Exar Kun. Kyp was connected to Kun and Streen was tempted by him so both have a good kowledge on him, I am almost inclined to believe them."

"Exar Kun," whispered Jaina, that was the presence she had felt, "If Kun is back, not that he is, then what were the other presences we felt?"

"Bad news," whispered Mara as she came walking up, "I can identify another presence, it was definetly the Emperor, I know his force Pulse anywhere, he is back."

As the talked Jaina felt fear seep into her heart, none of this could be good.

Daran Kron was shaking. He had dreamed of this for years, planned what he was going to say... but words left him. He looked around the room, and saw the other cultists were just as bad. Then he looked at the Sith, all like bony old men... although, rarely did bony old men carry lightsabres and have amazing Force power. Finally, he found words.
"We must move quickly, I'm sure the Jedi have detected our presence."

Actually DarkSideFire it was Anakin that was touched by the Emperor in Leia's womb.

Anakin cringed inwardly at the thought of both Kun and Palpatine in the same universe together, let alone on the same planet.

"Are Kun and Palpatine strong enough to create such a stirring in the force?" asked Anakin.

"We should be wary of the Darkside. We're not alone, may the force guide us.." Luke said.

By this moment,Jacen can already sense the discomfort in Jaina's and Anakin's feelings. They seems to be worried, and it had also affected Jacen too.Jacen finally let out the question which he had been waiting for an answer,a real answer..

"Master,i've been wondering if the Nightsisters are involved in this?" Jacen asked, curiosly.

Balmorra

From the depths of hyperspace, a streak of white light was catapluted into the blackness above Balmorra, resolving itself into the triangular form of an Imperial Lambda-class shuttle. Arcing gracefully away from the arms-producing world, the transport sped towards the centre of the system, where Balmorra's sun baked the surfaces of the three small worlds nearby.

The second planet in the system, Veela, was named for the ancient Balmorran Goddess of Storms. It was a good metaphor: the surface was ravaged by super-electrical storms, with lightning dancing constantly across the single massive continent. Although a landing was technically possible in the proper conditions, and with the proper equipment, these conditions had not occurred for over four hundred years, and were not likely to happen again for another seven hundred.

Rather, the shuttle was aiming not for the surface, but for the upper atmosphere. Here, as with some gas giants, atmospheric conditions could allow traffic to move above the deadly weather. And it was in this dense cloud cover that the Malignant Order of the Lidless Eye was concealing a deadly secret.

Flying almost blindly into the clouds, the pilot adjusted the sensor display on her modified pilot's eyepiece. The adjusted visual frequencies allowed for a considerably safer passage through the bleak environment. In the co-pilot's seat beside her, former Imperial Vice Admiral Mira Pestage monitored the comm channels for a telltale blip. They should be within comm range within-

"There," said Pestage. "Point 003-421.1."

"Yes, sir," replied the pilot, who immediately began to alter the ship's course. The shuttle flew into a thick orange cloud, almost blanking out the sensors completely. Finally, after what seemed like an age, the cover broke, and through the mist appeared the massive dark wedge-shape once so familiar to the Imperial fleet. After the devastating wars of succession, few of these behemoths remained, fewer still in anything resembling working condition.

But this ship, despite the loss of much of it's former firepower, was the mobile headquarters of Mira Pestage, and a refuge for the Order. After all, where better to hide from one's enemies than in an Imperial-II Star Destroyer?

With contact established, the shuttle was granted landing permission, and entered the mighty fortress-ship. There was much work to be done.

OOC: Darth Nai, my character is named Shadow so could you please not refer to Naga Shadow as Shadow?
BIC:
Junk Yard on a low level of Coruscant

"The dark ones have returned, but to do what? Will what they do me harmful or helpful for me? I guess I must just keep my guard up and wait to see," Shadow thought while searching for a few parts.

While searching, Shadow found a few people working on a droid. They seemed to have found a few useful parts in the junkyard for their project, and Shadow noticed that many of the parts they had would be useful to him too. Shadow reached for his ligtsaber and got ready to leap.

Shadow jumped down right as one walked towards where Shadow was. In seconds that one lost their life as a glowing lightsaber blade struck the person in two. There were two people left, one ran while the other took a blaster and began shooting at Shadow. Shadow blocked a few blasts moving closer, the person shooting began to panick and started to run. As soon as the firing stopped Shadow easily slashed the person in half.

The one that ran off, Shadow didn't bother to chase. That person already had a head start and probably would be hard to catch and not worth the effort. He went to the dead bodies first, searching through pockets in their clothing for credits and other valuables. When done, Shadow went to their project and the parts near it. He took apart what they were building and began to modify his body. Shadow's body was built poorly and constantly needed to be fixed. When he first built it, he lacked apendages and was sticking pieces together with the Force in a shoddily fashion. Now it was getting easier and easier to fix and modify with every upgrade. His hands used to be hard to work with, but now it was easier to handle tools and delicate pieces with them. Never the less, Shadow was always working on his own body something that is hard to do. Some parts of him are hard to reach and when repairing an arm he could only use one hand. When rewiring things he had to be careful not to accidently shut himself down which would leave him dead until someone turned him back on. Many hidden weapons and other things would not always work right because of this, which causes Shadow to usually only use his lightsaber in combat.

OOC: Shadow, his name is Naga Sadow, not Shadow. Since Darth Nai was spelling it correctly, there shouldn't be any confusion.

Temple of the Forgotten Ones, Coruscant

With a hiss of triumph, Freedon Nadd re-emerged into existence. After the millennia of his imprisonment, he had now returned. He knew not how, nor where to, but this was of little importance just now. He savoured once again his physical connection to the Dark Side, tenuous as it was, and basked in the realisation of everything he could now accomplish.

He glanced at the Sith Lords around him. Some he had known, some he had not. But undoubtedly, the most powerful practicioners of the Sith Arts had been assembled here. And the glory of that simple fact overwhelmed him.

As his thoughts turned to his powers, or lack thereof, he began to wonder about Korriban. The ancient funeral world of the Sith, where his mighty temple had stood, where his spirit had dwelt. He would like to visit it again, one day soon, to try to recapture a measure of his former self. He also found himself thinking about those who had served him long ago, and regretting their absence at his side now...

He shook his head to clear his mind of such thoughts. He was here, now. In a real, tangible form. And for Freedon Nadd, that was what mattered now.

OOC: A few times in his post he will write Shadow instead of Naga Shadow. When he shortens Naga Shadow to Shadow, a bit of confusion might be caused.

OOC: Shadow, the name of the character is SADOW, not SHADOW. None of us are confused by this, because they are two completely different names. Darth Nai has shortened Naga SADOW to SADOW, which is different from SHADOW. There is no confusion, nor will there be.

OOC: I've had that problem happen to me all the time, Shadow.

Temple of the Forgotten Ones

With members of the Order dispersing, Kraq Khalizad found himself in a room with the Dark Lords of the Sith. Several of the Dark Lords had recovered enough strength to move around, while others were still meditating.

Khalizad noticed, with a bit of horror, that the Dark Lords looked more like decaying corpses, than great Sith Lords of old. It was then he remembered what the powers of the Dark Side could do to one's form. He also realized that a similar process was occuring in the members of the Order, except at a much slower rate.

But technology was quite wonderous indeed in this modern era...and Khalizad figured he should show his new Dark Masters the modern wonders.

"New innovations have been created since your time in this world, my lords. Including bacta regeneration."

The word regeneration seemed to catch the Dark Lords interest.

"Explain this...regneration." said Freedon Nadd.

"The regeneration baths, unlike normal bacta tanks, are capable of not just healing wounds, but restoring the body to a more youthful state! If you all bathed in these baths, with a combination of Force-healing powers, your bodies will return to normal."

"I suppose these regeneration baths would not be able to restore our powers in the Dark Side would it?" said Palpatine, who was now able to stand. His dark eyes hungered for the power once more.

"Sadly no, but it will make my lords phyiscally stronger. Do not trouble yourself for now. The Lidless Eye will provide all you need."

Khalizad made a signal, and suddenly portions of the floor rotated, revealing an enormous sauna full of bacta fluid.

The Dark Lords eagerly stepped into the sauna, and they all relaxed....and almost instantly Khalizad saw that their physical forms were improving....ragged flesh was becoming strong and muscular, bodies becoming more youthful, their physical forms becoming stronger once more!

With the powers of the Dark Side combined with the bacta regnereation tanks, the Dark Lords were accelerating their physical recovery, making them one step closer to domination once more!

Kyp's Quarters

Kyp was up late at night like he usualy was in front of his konsole terminal. The room was dark except for the illuminating light comming from the holoscrene.

For the past year and a half something had seemed quite wrong to him in the different sections of government. Many politicians in the New Republic seemed to be quite apathetic and distracted towards recent affairs.

Kyp had noticed that a new clique(sp?) of political insiders had formed over the past few months. The same group of people from all four sections of the government gathered daily at the same Sulustian resteraunt for lunch. And after work took the same bus home, even though they all lived at different parts of the residential district.

Kyp had been using his crudentials as a member of the council to access the files of those he suspected. Each persons file he tried to look up had a code 1 security lock, which was unheard of for people at the level of the suspects. Something was definatly wrong here.

Detered by the road blocks in his way Kyp had decided to use a more conventional form of acquiring the information he needed. After the work day ended for government employes Kyp decided to take the bus that the clique took every day. He used the force to mask his identity so that no one would recognize him. All 8 of the people he was trailing got off at Republic Square, the center of the residential district.

From there they proceded to walk to their homes in pairs, 4 pairs going in four different directions. Kyp followed two of the more predominant people in the clique. Kai Yan Wang, vice chair to the inteleigence agency, and head of Project Titan, which Kyp didn't even have access to. The other was a man named Morgan Motha, a rather ignorant person that got into the council through his last name, and his legendary aunt, now retired.

After going down a few more blocks, the two of them split up. Kyp decided to follow Kai. After another block or two They reached his lavish appartment. Kai went inside and closed the door. Kyp found a janitorial closet near Kai's room. Kyp locked the door and began to meditate, so he could see everything that was going on in the appartment.

After several hours Kai Yan Wang left his appartment dressed in a black robe. Kyp followed him. Kai got into the elevator , he pressed the button to go to the roof. A long Black hover-car with it's headlights turned off approached and stoped in front of Kai. Kyp noticed 3 other figures inside besides the driver. Kai steped in and the hovercar sped off.

The next day, Kyp proceded in the same fashon, only this time Kyp brought along with him a small tracking device. When night fell and Kai went to the roof Kyp followed, the hovercar approached. Before getting in, Kai looked around the area suspiciously. kai got in, and the car started to leave. Kyp jumped out of the shadows, and used the force to guide his tracking bug right on the back of the black vehicle.

Kyp raced down to the parking gerage where he had stored his speeder bike earlyer in the day. He followed the signal for a long ways. The car made four more stops, picking up 4 more people. They were begining to enter the industrial district, the less glamorus part of Couriscant. Suddently Kyp lost the signal. Kyp searched high and low for the hovercar but it was nowhere to be found. Little did he know that he was only meters above the Temple of the Forgotten Ones.

This is how Kyp's life had proceded for the past weeks. Kyp was trying hard once more this night to crack the shell of the Couriscant main-frame and learn more of these people when it happened. A stronge surge in the force. Kyp purked up, but then dissmissed this surge as it could be any number of things happening and went back to his work. But, then he felt a familiar presence, a hand in the force was reaching out, toutching Kyp's mind, probing for information. Kyp put up a mental bariar, and the hand dug in deeper. Using all his mental energy Kyp shatered the hand. Kyp was sure of it now, his old master, Exar Kun had returned.

Kyp couldnt go back to work, or go to sleep for that matter. Minutes later the terminal screne by the door lit up and a familiar face appeared. It was Jegan, the door man to the appartment complex where he lived.

"I hope that I am not wakeing you Master Durron, but Master Skywalker requests your presence in the lobby, he is assembling the Jedi for a meeting."

Kyp rubed his eyes. "Okay Jegan, I will be there in a minute."

Kyp had been so bussy with his investigations that he had forgot that Master Skywalker was on the planet to beg Clifton Uplord and the rest of the council to increse funding to the Jedi order.

Kyp put on his brown master's cloak and went down stairs. The meeting was already in process when Kyp arived. Skywalker was giving a speach and accepting suggestions about what this surge was about. Kyp steped up behind Skywalker an whispered in his ear.

"I felt him, durring that surge, my old master Exar Kun."

"Are you sure?" Skywalker whispered back

"Quite, but it wasen't only him, there were other, stronger presences in that surge."

"How can this be? We destroyed him, years ago!"

"Im not sure, but we should be on alert."

"Okay, I will announce what we have discussed to the others."

Kyp walked away as Luke spoke to the others. Kyp decided to go back to his room to try to get some rest, tommorow the council was assembling to listen to Master Skywalker's requests.

OOC: Zaarin, wait no longer! The Order could use your services!

Coruscant Tapcafe-The Burly Tauntaun

Zizeck Yamous casually walked into one of the numerous tapcafes here on Coruscant. He had been instructed by Khalizad to go out and find ways to help the Sith restore their power. The most obvious way was to access the Jedi Archives that were stored in the Jedi Temple mainframe on Coruscant, but it was said that these were virtually impossible to access...

...to a mere Cultist like Yamous that is.

That was why Zizeck had travelled to the outskirts of one of Coruscant's most lonely districts, to enlist the services of one Enylys, a slicer who had made quite a name for himself by hacking into the Coruscant sewage department, and stealing their funds. It was quite a hilarious stunt, but it had made the slicer rich. Rumor had it that he was here at The Burly Tauntaun.

There. The corner of the Tapcafe was dark, but the single booth was occupied by a blue skinned alien.

Zizeck slipped into the booth, and placed 5000 Republic Credits in front of the alien, who then acknowledged his presence.

"That's a downpayment." Yamous said, and knew this caught the alien's interest. We can pay you 10 times this amount when the job is done.

"Obviously you know my reputation. What is it you want?" Enylys asked.

Zizeck pulled out a datacard and showed it to Enylys.

"This is..." the alien looked up, slightly shocked.

"Yes. The Archives to the Jedi Temple. Certain..parties would be interested if we could get...unrestricted access to the Temple's records."

Enylys looked at the datacard. Whoever this man was had provided enough information to get him past the basic security clearances...but beyond that were impossible firewalls. The risks were great as the Jedi were watching him, but Enylys knew the reward (and respect) would be immense if he could pull it off.

"I'll do it." the alien said.

"Excellent." said Yamous, shaking his hand. He then threw Enylys a comlink.

"Contact me immediately when this is done.", he said, walking slowly away, leaving the alien behind in the dark.

Coruscant

Shadow had a place set up where he could recieve messages, unnoticed. Shadow noticed no new jobs for him and most bounties put up on adds were either too low a price or off world. Going off world would be troublesome for Shadow, he might not be able to get supplies for repairs as easily and the neutrients he needed for his brain might end up being harder to get. He also had no ship to travel on.

Shadow then began trailing someone he saw. The supply of neutrients in the container his brain was put in was running a bit and a part needed to fix a malfunctioning leg would have to be bought since he could not find it at the junk yard. After a moment or two when the person stepped out of sight from the main road and out of sight of most, Shadow through his lightsaber like a boomerrang right at him. The man fell and Shadow called the lightsaber back to his hand. He then slowly moved over to the dead body and using the lightsaber he had, began to take off parts that could be used replenish the neutrient supply in his brain's container. Shadow also scrummaged through the pockets gathering credits and things that could be easily pawned.

After buying needed parts, Shadow left to a nearby junk yard to hide. He was an abomination, neither really organtic or mechanical. Many did not consider him a living thing, but him killing at any chance he could did not help anyone to enjoy being around him. Shadow, used the parts to fix his leg and replenished his brain's neutrient supply. Then Shadow decided to check on his old master's condition.

Shadow was a little disapointed to see that all the jedi that would probably destroy him if he was ever caught, had managed to do nothing about such a great disturbance. Shadow had noticed the darkness being around any time he used the Force. He couldn't exactly tell much, but because he could easily sense Palpatine's presence, for Palpatine was once his master. His old master's power was growing. When he first went rogue and escaped from sure death Palpatine was controlling a huge amount of servants through the Force. Now though there were few of his servants left, so if his power went back to full strength it would be easier to take control of Shadow.

Things always seemed to make life hard for Shadow on the planet, but not too hard that he could handle them. Between Jedi and the others who would just kill him if they had a chance, but would this returned darkness be another enemy or ally? Also if they were another enemy, would Shadow then finally be forced to help his hated enemy the Jedi. Questions of what would happen ran through Shadow's head.
