My Star Trek mod was good, but it lacked a point, considering it was in a Star Wars game. Then the thought came to me, it was originally planned as Total Conversion, why not return to that idea? So, Pariah Design proudly presents: Star Trek: Romulan Incursion!

Star Trek
Fifteen quiet years have passed since the destruction of the USS Enterprise-D at Vridia III. But now, a remote listening post along the Romulan Neutral Zone has picked up signs of disturbingly increased Romulan activity. Furthermore, the Cardassions are through licking their wounds, and are about to rise again. The Borg have been seen surveying the Alpha Quadrant, possibly with the intent of yet another incursion. Things are not looking good, and the Federation and Klingons prepare to face the quadrant. Meanwhile, visits from the Q seem to be growing in frequency...

Step 1 will be the Federation side, who will replace the Rebel Alliance. I will be needing some help with ground units and buildings other than the fortress, spaceport, sentry post, and airbase.

Here is the plan for the UFP (United Federation of Planets, for those who don't know; one's marked with an * will be don by me):

Grenade Trooper: Human Starfleet Officer w/Portable Phaser Artillery (Area that would usually be colored to show department will be playor color)
Repeater Trooper: Human Starfleet Officer w/ Pulse Phaser Rifle
Hvy Trooper: Human Starfleet Officer w/ Compression Rifle
Trooper: Human Starfleet Officer w/ Phaser Rifle
Trooper Recruit: Human Starfleet Officer w/ Type 2 Phaser
Reytha Trooper: Vulcan Starfleet Officer
Hanoon Trooper: Bajoran (in Bajoran military uniform)
Krant Trooper: Bolian Starfleet Officer
Bespin Trooper: Human Starfleet Admiral
Bounty Hunter: Andorian Starfleet Officer
Medic: Human Medical Officer (in medical smock, like Crusher sometimes wears; should be based on Alyssa Ogawa)
*Utility Trawler: Dilithium Freighter
*Transport Ship: Colony Ship
*Cargo Hovercraft: Cargo Ship
*Scout: Venture-class
*Worker: Worker Bee
Boush: Worf
Dash Rendar: Data
Excellency Lathe Parthenian: Counseller Deanna Troi
General Dodonna: Captain Picard
Han Solo: Geordi LaForge
Kath Talor: Dr. Beverly Crusher
Krantian Govorner: Wesley Crusher

Luke Skywalker: Picard w/ Fencing Saber
Master Skywalker: Worf w/Bat'Leth
*Millenium Falcon: Prometheus-class
Old Ben: Anonymous Officer w/Fencing Saber

All ships will remain unedited, except for sounds, and mounties should become some sort of hovercraft, mechs and hvy weapons should be replaced by something apropriet.

Buildings should be replaced by apropriet buildings. Here are some examples of ones that I'm not doing:
Anti-air turrets: Photon torpedo launchers
Turrets: Phaser banks
Troop Center: Starfleet Academy
Monument: Starfleet Headquarters

I will be doing the following buildings:
Fortress: T3=Normal Starbase;T4=Drydock
Spaceport: All T=Trade Center
Airbase: T3=Shipyard;T4=Adv Shipyard
Sentry Post: Listening Post

I'll be needing a lot of help, so anyone who's willing to assist, you'll be welcome to! This is how it will be done:

  • Step 1. Release all items as individual MPIs. (This is for the people who don't want the entire civ/project)
  • Step 2. I'll d/l all the files and compile them into one MPI file for the civ. (This is for people who don't want the entire project)
  • When all the civs are done (Federation, Romulans, Klingons, Borg, Q, Cardassions, maybe more), I will compile it into one uber large MPI file that will completely PWN.

    Comments welcome.

    Certainly! I despise Intrepid-class, and any little bit of work done helps! Submit it, and I'll put a link to it in the main thread. It will eventually put in a pack with some other fighters (not the fighter pack, the "other fighters" pack, the one that will have the B-Wing, Airspeeder, A-wing, and a few others...)

    Zaarin: I would make every effort to help, but I know nothing about a mod. Plus, If I had a mod installed, I would screw up my computer. Very sorry, but I'm afraid you waisted your time on the Wesely mod. If he's in starfleet, all you need for him is to use a jedi padawan for a red player. It looks alot like Wesely.

    EDIT: BTW, not that I'm critisizing you or anything, but your bitmap reminds me of something... A game called... Star Trek Armada. Cool. I remember the Romulan scout ship and the Ferengi Marauder. But also try making a ST SW crossover campahn someday.

    I'm sorry, but I didn't understand a word you just said. Wesley isn't a waste of time, BTW. He's my favorite character, and the Padawan has a lightsaber. Sorry, I'm going for cannon, not convenient. Anyway...
