Very competitive land RM ai. Didn't get the extra half point to being weak against TL2 rushes ;) .
Gubbubu Gives bug message belowed:

(possible, but not probable, because i don't run clone campaigns)

Gubbubu Yet it hardly did anything else then carbonizing himself up, even did not create a single worker.

That's because it requires Clone Campaigns.
SteamHeaven I've been trying to work this out
If I select the AI for my side, the player for AI vs AI, they seem to get stuck on tech 2 endlessly gathering carbon and food and no Nova or ore (wont upgrade to level 3)

If I use the AI only for other computer players, they get up to level 3.

FYI if using the v 108 available elsewhere which supports both Galactic Empire and republic

and get the error cannot open TownSizeChat

If I check the .per file there is this line that is not in 1.07:
(load "TownSizeChat")

This is all one file so there should not be any files it references to outside of itself (DemonEmpire.per) and the empty DemonEmpire.AI.

If I comment out that line ie ; (load "TownSizeChat") it loads without error.

In any instance, 107 or 108 the same problem remains if I use the AI for my player. They gather food and carbon but do not advance to level 3.
