O Brother Where Art Thou Mafia

This is a mafia I've been planning for a long time, and it's the third time I host a mafia. This mafia requires some experiece and understanding of the three game mechanics that you can use to your advantage: Earning money, buying items and elections. I will explain in more detail below. It's a twelve player game and I hope you'll have a lot of fun. There is also a vast amount of conditions in this game to keep it intresting. Hope you don't think it looks to complicated/weird.

Story

Three prisoners escape from a chain gang, seeking a treasure of 1.2 million dollars. There are a lot of hinders in their way, as well as many allies. People will want to destroy them, will they suceed?

Mechanics

Elections: On day 2 there will be elections, where you can vote for who you want to become mayor. The one elected will get new powers, or sometimes negative abilities. The mafia will gain a huge advantage by being elected.

Money: Each player has a unique mechanic for earning cash, which later can be used to buy items (see below).

Items: Each player can buy a set of items which will grant additional abilities for that player. Both mafia and town can buy items.
