I am planning to run a Harry potter themed Mafia game.

It will be a regular mafia game with some unusual roles/surprises. All roles will be randomised to avoid steroetype roles dished out to strong players.
All players will have equal opportunity to run roit with mafia powers or the ability to weild/wave the healing wand. Randomised to preserve the surprise.

I would like it to be decently paced and hence would request people with time to respond. If you have real life commitments and think u wont be able to contribute reasonably well, please think twice before signing up to aviod inconvinience to other fellow players.

I think 36-48 hours is a reasonable timescale for people to post and if you have that type of time on your hands, please feel free to sign up.

The game will start once the current mafias- Bonjovi, Curious case and Back to roots- have either finished or coming to an end. Too many mafias at one tiime can result in confusion/lack of dedicated time to one game- hence will try to time it so majority can sign up.

Personally I think that you need to make this a Harry Porter game now; although I think you need to figure out some way to make pottkeys a gameplay mechanic. It'd be sweet.

Dont see him confirming yet. but he is welcome to sign up.

I am looking at a setup of 20 people- so the more the merrier. But please make sure you will have time to be active so as not to cause inconvinience to fellow players.

If there aren't 20 people , I will organize the setup around the number of people we have.

I would suggest starting off with a smaller set-up? Especially as it is your first time hosting?

No, we dont have 20 active players i dont think. Bingo managed to scrap 20 for ST:V but a few were inactive. Look at around 10-13 for a first set up i would say.

At the top right of the page there's a navigation bar where you can access other heavens.
All roles will be randomised to avoid steroetype roles dished out to strong players.
I'd go ahead and just assign roles manually, it's fun.

There's no way people from over at OD are going to come over to play in a newbie's game here, Ferret's powers of persuasion notwithstanding. And I don't think Ferret would even want to attempt to do that. People from OD can be harsh judges of anything you really don't want to involve them in your first game.
