And Poseidon cursed you ... Seems he don't agree to have a mortal as brother-in-law !

As an act of Poseidon cuts your city from entry point more or less quickly , you can't no more have new immigrants .
That means
1 ) It is difficult to people new houses , and you must have the max of houses peopled ASAP ( keep them low level , you have plenty of time to improve them ) .
Elite houses can only be peopled by hobboes , obtained by devolving pleb housings .
2 ) Growth relies on birthes minus deathes , the best health and happy inhabitants are the keys .
