volume	Posted on 07/06/09 @ 09:07 AM (updated 07/22/09) i thought i should download the official aoe and ror trial from the official sites http://microsoft.com/games/empires/ http://microsoft.com/games/aoeexpansion/ and upload their campaigns and multiplayer scenarios many of us were likely pretty nostalgic about. before should we say the official site and/or they disappear. zip file contains Armies at War A Combat Showcase, Reign of the Hittites and Multiplayer Rumble for AoE and First Punic War and Multiplayer Mediterranean for RoR. CERTIFIED DOWNLOADED AND OBTAINED FROM THE OFFICIAL AOE AND ROR SITE LINKED ABOVE UPDATE 7/22/2K9: TOOK AND USED http://aoe.heavengames.com/dl-php/showfile.php?fileid=7 THE BEST CAMPAIGN MANAGER AND FIXED THE ROR TRIAL CAMPAIGN AND SCENARIO VERSION SO IT WOULD NOW WORK ON ROR FULL. FINALLY! HELL YEAH!!! NOTICE: this download of including the ror trial campaigns and scenarios are perhaps the only ones that work especially on aoe gold (they are left unchanged in their original scenarios except their versions) others of the same uploaded elsewhere likely do not work on full due to the original version fault and no the solution is not simply the patch (; UPDATED NOTICE: its a good thing i downloaded the original aoe and ror trial versions and seized their campaigns and scenarios because as i noted somewhere sometime ago ror trial has died and no longer works as a download in microsoft games official site http://www.microsoft.com/games/aoeexpansion/downloads.htm and just to add http://www.microsoft.com/games/empires/downloads.htm

zapdotep	Posted on 07/08/09 @ 02:44 PM I don't think Microsoft is going to delete these sites as long as Microsoft exists. They rank at the top on search results and are no doubt still valuable to MS. They only changed the main ones a little to add AoE 2, AoM and AoE 3. [Edited on 07/08/09 @ 02:46 PM]
volume File Author	Posted on 07/10/09 @ 02:19 PM zapdotep, i agree with what you said that these are likely definitely valuable to microsoft and will stay as long as they exist. but the purpose really is to make them easily all available including without having to worry about finding the damn site since especially nowadays aoe 3, aom and sometimes aok/tc constantly overshadows the old official aoe/ror site. doing search including google and ask would not work anymore. and besides...i took the task of going to the official sites and downloading the trials and uploading their scenarios here..just so i can certify that these were the originals from the official sites :) [Edited on 07/10/09 @ 02:22 PM]
