I was actually hunting for this the other day and I found out Microsoft wasn't hosting it any more. Thanks for uploading it here!

I installed this "c" patch but the readme that comes with it calls it a "b" patch. Once installed the game won't work. It keeps asking me to put the correct disk in.

Certain newer editions of the game already have the 1.0c patch applied in the box. I recommend a fresh install (complete removal and install) and then checking your version by clicking the banner in the main menu.

For the googlers:
Age2XPatch.exe is the Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors Expansion official patch c. It updates a few rules and graphics. Most notably the Korean turtle ship is updated.

Hi. I have problem with installing it.
When I click on it in its zip file it shows an error: The retail version of age of empires II: the conquerors is not installed on this system.
what should I do?
