It is a good scenario and worth an edit.
I received a relic victory, to fix you have to place a second relic somewhere on the map, in trees, behind cliffs, inaccessible for the player.
My troops could walk around the island in the north and kill all units inside without an attack to the front gate, place rocks to block the path.
I received Crossbowmen and Long Swordsmen without having any gold. Have a second condition for triggers 'New archer' and 'New Soldier', 'Accumulate Attribute', Source Player 1, 'Attributes List' Gold Stockpile 'Quantity' 5.
My Berserk approached the Paladin alone and I received a Gaia knight, in trigger 'Horsey', Effect 1, change Source Player Gaia to Player 1.

Playability: 5
The triggers, dialogue, combined with the army building that took place later in the game, made this a fun scenario to play with.
Balance: 4
Short of directly attacking the strongest enemies in the scenario with the original forces you're given, there is no real way to lose this map. But that is the point! It's not a competitive scenario, but rather one to provide a challenge to topple over and a fun little story. Hence, the player is provided with ample means to defeat their enemies.
Creativity: 5
Call me a newbie if it suits your fancy, -for a newbie I am, indeed! :)- but I have played through quite a few single player scenarios and never found any with quests like these. The triggers are also fabulous, and what got me into scenario building.
Map Design: 3
A Small Adventure's map serves it's purpose. If you catch on to what you're supposed to do, navigating it is easy. If not, you may get lost for a few minutes exploring. That is fine. There is nothing revolutionary about how the map is constructed, though I did like how some of the interior was connected. It had a nice seaside feel.
Story/Instructions: 5
Instructions were reasonably informative and the story, though simple, was fun to play through! It is a bit convenient that one of the first individuals your character encounters is willing to just hand out his old armour, but it works, so why complain?
Additional Comments:
puente123456 did a good on this one, and frankly it could stand to receive more attention than it already has. A job well done! |
