Hiho PawelS !
I would like to make morph accessable to (almost) every unit in the game. These units should get advanced versions of their skills (e.g. Block II).
Questions:
a) is Block II possible ?
b) what does it ? Block I does +5 Def (1. Strike and every Ranged attack). Does block II +10 Def ? If you dont know: would there be a possibility to find it out (hex-editing is no problem for me, if it would be helpful).

If I change the level with the new editor, will it error next time it is loaded as well? Or is this only a issue with the old editor?
Why don't you recommend level 0's?
What trait should I attach something like mud, or holy light etc to? I know I've seen holy light in other mods, what trait are they attacked to or how is that done?

Any problems other then that you had to set units back to 1 (then zero again, when you can load it) in order to use the editor a second time?
If you were to give say holy light to a unit, what trait would you attach it to? Does it matter?
Yes, please make future editors able to set unit level to zero, its kinda frusterating that I will have to use this older more laggy version to do my work.
What differences are there between the current editor and the past one? Anything you can do with the current one that you can't with the previous one?

I've used your unit-editor many times (e.g. for setting level 5+ units or more than 50 HP), and must say: its great.

what sort of tricks can be done with this editor?
can i give spell casting to a regular unit?(without it crashing, tried it in the regular editor)
more than one spear to throw?
arrows that paralyze?
seduce that works on females?
i've seen similar things in some mods, but ive no idea how they do it

ive not gotten that into experimenting with it yet
i think im not asking the right question so heres a thought
on a human Crossbowman he has his Fire_Crossbow ability
on the dropdown menu it says Ranged_Attack, say i changed this to something else, ">>Dominate" for example. would he fire a bolt, and on a sucessful hit "dominate" the target?
is anything similar to that possible by tinkering with that dropdown menu?

Ahh woot this one fixes the problem I was having as well PawelS, thanks man, as always - now let me ask, as I wanna be clear on this - I see Lvl, Hp, Ab
Ab= Ability, I put in a number from the 'units' abilities text file that came with the download to give it that ability?
So I can easily raise units hp (up to 60 now without errors, yes? 100 without errors for machines you said?)
For a unit with a ranged attack such as Doom Gaze already placed (via the game editor) can I then go and edit the attack to be limited to so many shots per fight? By just adding the code for ranged attacks 3/3? can i Make it ranged attacks 10? or 2?
Can I make multiple units morph into other units ? I've played with using a undead type unit that has 'devour' and spawns new zombies, and I've played with a dragon that 'spawns' a skeletal version of itself (a seperate unit) through triggers when it dies, and then a ghost version of itself the same way when it dies, though for some reason I was having issues with that which I still can't explain.
But could I make multiple morph types? Perhaps a zombie morphing into a mummy on gold medal, and then morphing again into a lich at gold again? etc?

Yes, you can but donīt work very well, for example, if you want to asing stunt to magic bolts it works, but donīt work if you want asing to 3 shots/day because only fires once. And you can asing only 1 or 3 shots (and not even). A put in my mod 3 shots to Doom Gaze and works.
You can make multiple morphing units. Look for the morph tutorial in the forum, but you need an hexadecimal editor, but isnīt too much dificult leran to use.
In my mod I have a human infantery that morphs in gold medal into a Line soldier and the line soldier morphs to heavy infantry, and heavy infantry morphs at gold into a champion, but is not very nice, because the XP points continue in the new unit and you must asing an higher level to the new unit or it starts in gold medal.

can you tell me what i would need to do to make doom gaze or some other ranged attack a 3/3?
I assume I have to use the Unit editor AFTER i've saved the map, each time?

so what are some of the neat possibilities you guys have used the unit editor for in abilities? I mainly wanted to use it for the higher HP limits, what else can It really do?
