A test city which shows that certain populations can eliminate ghosts. Usually, larger populations are more likely to stop generating ghosts in a stable state. If you want to build a truly immortal city, it may be a good idea to aim at the population around 14k (or bigger). The figure 14400 was suggested by Brugle.
- no interventions are required to run this city
- taxes are set to make minimum profit at very hard
The free run was started after 15 years in the game.
The first save is from the year 500 AD. It was one of the earliest years when the census curve looked perfect (at the scale it is shown in the game).
The second save is from the year 7,000 AD.
Two ghosts were formed during the initial demographic changes, very early in the city's history. Since demographics started to become stable, no ghosts have been observed. The total ghost-free time span is around 7000 years, 6500 of which are shown between the saves.
