This is El Nath, the frozen land where humans and angels coexist. This scenario features unique dialogues from NPCs, and interactive elements.

You're a diplomat sent from heaven, the scenario doesn't have a clear objective, feel free to explore all corners of the map and have fun!



Inspired by a town with the same name in a side-scrolling MMORPG, Maplestory.

For all the moderators out there, I've made a mistake labelling this as a "single-player scenario" but it should have been "showcase scenario". If anyone's out there please relabel it the correct way.

El Nath is a showcase scenario by dyhung2h which was designed for ZeroEmpires design contest to celebrate the release of the Definitive Edition.

El Nath is a fantastical city where heavenly beings coexist with worldly humans to create and magnificent magics civilization. Set amidst a open in a frozen mountain range the angels live in the high palaces whilst the humans settle in the man made towns and farmlands below.

The scenario is beautifully designed and it is clear that the author is well experienced with the scenario editor and has quickly learnt how to use many of the new features that comes with the Definitive Edition. There are many beautiful sights to see as you explore the map, from the wonderful heavenly place to the frozen shores of the western sea. The artistic placing of terrain mixing and authentic building layouts are professionally and beautifully designed and there is some creative design tricks and decent use of the off-grid placement tool. There’s some nice atmosphere around with many civilians, human and angelic wondering around, as well as some penguins around the shores. There are areas which could do with some extra work such as the mixing of the waters which can become block like and have sharp edges.

Additional Comments:
Overall El Nath is a fantastic showcase scenario and a highly recommended download.
