(For the purposes of this poll I am classifying non-practitioners of a religion in this poll as long as they express belief in divinity)

atheism — roughly, an absence of belief in any gods or deities, or a belief that gods or deities do not exist at all.

agnosticism — roughly, the belief that it is not possible to know whether gods or deities exist, or the belief that one does not know. (For purposes of this poll I am classifying people who can't be bothered in this category)

In the context of this poll any kind of reasonable strong spiritual or religious belief system classifies you as a Theist.

Kindly try, as hard as it may be, not to turn this into the 1001 th debate thread on the existence of god.

WHEW! That took some work. I have a few things to say:


1. I have rechecked this a few times but it may not be perfect because putting people into the rigid predefined categories is hard in some cases given the imprecise answers I get at times.

2. I had to re tally the votes due to this exercise since they did not match with my earlier counts.
