Stories of a Native legend have made their way to the ears of European explorers. First told to a Spaniard by the Cuna people, the legend tells of a great city made purely out of gold, hidden in the jungles to the north. Marvelous, untold riches can be found in the avenues and every corridor of the grand city. Now, Spain, Portugal, Genoa, and Venice are all on their way to the New World, determined to find this legendary City of Gold. But the dangers that lie ahead for all of them are much greater than they expected.
