Hi Guys/gals,

Just an interesting result I noticed well using map revelers and looping triggers.

The main circle is an elephant and a number of other smaller units suround the sides to create the circle affect. Also, the good thing about using the map reveler to create the box effect is that it remains in the light or dark revealed map. The other units must be removed when your units get to that locality.

Another interesting use involves using a number of looping change ownership map revelers as a puzzle board for "puzzle scenarios" or events in a campaign" Pick a spot type of events. I also found it useful for pointing out picked up objects and many other things. The area remains dark if the units or map revealer changes ownership to un an allied player.

The sound can be tedious, so, it's best to use it for a short time or put some sound effect's in to cover the noise of the units changing ownership.

I've done something similar only with one unit.... Never thought to make designs like that.

Nice effect for a night scene.

For some reason it reminds me of crop circles.

Possibly used for a compass of sorts in the corner of the map.

Very interesting. And what a coincidense(sp?)!

I was playing a game(sorry if this is the wrong forum), and something like that happened. I clicked on his villagers, and then they moved back into the dark area, but I could still see their base.

Anyways, that effect is cool.

The disclaimer under the text is there for a reason :-).

The green circles remind me alot of a Teleportation pad or something along those lines. A crop circle yes, I also see the similarity.

Meh.It is'nt that annoying.I'm more concerned with the scenario crashing.It happens quite often when you convert a large no. of units or buildings.

I never saw the use of big green circles surrounded by smaller circles..but i did see the same type of thing in one of the SCN-Punk scenarios, altough it could have been a play-testing one..
