Anyways it looks great. Keep it up.

The rain and broken bridge pics look awesome.

Sounds very good, I'm looking forward to it.

Not really a feature in its sense but a cool addition anyways. I've never actually seen these skippable cinematics used before so this should be cool

    thanx everyone

about skipable cinematics; yes they are a feature, and they arent that easy to pull off.

currently, the prologue cinematic is skipable without no bugs, and the intro of the second playable scenario is skipable too, i just have to work on the last cinematic scenario

guardian, a cool addition IS a feature, like a day/night cycle

the textures look really average right now, and actually the standard textures of the three characters are all blurry..which i'll fix later

    Quote:

Heh Alfworld looks like he has a stuck on beard lmao

well i guess thats ES fault since i didnt changed anything on him, execpt for the standard texture

All of ES scenarios use that technique, and Oddy, too, I think in his campaign "Survival Of The Phoenix".

I tried Skippable cines on my first projects, they can get kinda complex if you decide to do them half way through completing the scen though..

Yes, that's not recommendable. I'd say, first make the scn, then the intro cin and then make it skippable, as the last thing you do before the scn is completed. That way it's really easy.

Ahh AoMPlayer sadly I will never make my intros skippable. Rather I'll instructions to press F8 after the cinematic. Aha!

Yes, I know. But frankly, it's rather sad for your scns than for me IMO. If you tried it once and understood it, you would use it as well, believe me, like auron, pftq, oddy, King Jared, me, and I'm sure others do. I'm pretty sure the only reason why you are so negative about it is that you got deterred by the (actually small) efforts. Who cares, it's up to everybody what he includes in his scn or not.

True. Anyways, good luck on this project.

(Gods, my mom got me some 'tea', I drank it expecting it to be hot and turned out to be freezing cold juice. The effect was...weird...)

    posted 28 November 2004 11:51 AM EDT (US)     21 / 88
? Anyway, good luck with liquids in the future ...

Yes, the project seems promising . Although 1 scn is a bit little for a campaign... Auron, do you think of adding more scns?

    posted 28 November 2004 12:05 PM EDT (US)     22 / 88
No not true. IMO the one scn campaigns always turn out the best. Actually, its not really a campaign since the other scns are just cinematics.

I think it should be quite exciting to play. I never really liked your Setna scenario but this sounds like a sure-fire winner.

BTW AoMPlayer the offer to join Liquid still stands as always (we're undergoing changes so I want to bring in some more oldie blood).

actually..is better quality of quantity, and thats the reason why i'm adding so many features to the only playable scenario

well, a campaign is a series of scenarios, whether they are cinematics or not.

maybe...how knows, its half finished and there it still alot to be done

yep, i learned some cool tricks from that series hehe.

my setna scenario isnt that outstanding but rather average, and i'm just too lazy to update it right now, maybe i'll re-design it and put more effort into it..and actually i made that scneario a long time ago..

hmm this reminds me, should i add the feature i added to the setna scenario, to being able to play in different camera pitch?

LOL i think what he meant by liquids is the actual tea you were drinking
