A history of the LPW:

As we all know, the LPW was invented by Tutankhamun when he was 13 in 1329BCE and legally allowed to join AoMH. There are conflicting historical reports of the time; now believed to be correct - alleging that the idea was placed in his mind by another. Historians cannot agree if the idea was started by Anubis, god of the dead as a means of cataloguing those earmarked for the worst tortures of the underworld, or by Out Reach wearing a dead jackal's head as a mask for a laugh.

In older times (before 2005), little evidence is available of the existence of the LPW. Recent threads rediscovered by slave labourers digging by toothbrush reveal in exquisite detail the discussions of the ancient past. There were votes on whether the LPW should continue dating back to 2004/05. The consensus was to continue.

The first modern example of an LPW was in 2004, designated the LPW16. Up until LPW25, LPWs were famously eaten by the server once they exceeded 2500 posts in a ceremony much akin to reverse menstruation.

Following LPW25, we have had an unbroken chain of misery all the way to LPW38, where for some reason we skipped 39 and went straight to 40.

Now we land with this glorious monolithic LPW, the longest lived by far and considered by some to be immortal. It is often compared to the last star dying in the universe leaving only black holes for trillions of years to guzzle and scream at the darkness. Are we truly LPW42? We are only the 21st which has been excavated from the ruins of the HOV. I compile and attach the complete known history of LPW for your perusing pleasure:
