Although this game set up by Torso, I hope he woundn't mind if we start looking for a sub if MP does not reply this weekend. This one was one of my fast games but now has fallen to my top slowest.

Edit: although, now that I see it more carefully, Mawgan Porth hasn't been responsible for delays previously and only 3 weeks have passed for the current situation. Shouldn't we wait a bit longer?

I understand, the thing is that he's gone AWOL because he did not answer to email message to let us know if he's still busy and we should wait a little longer. I don't mind waiting for 2 more weeks if I know the game will continue but having no replies from him, we don't know if the game can continue with him or not. That what I'm afraid.

Only 3 weeks? I'd say it is quite a long time, especially if he did not mention being absent. I think we could start searhing for a sub. Hopefully the turn is not password protected...

For what it is worth, the new Mayor Baggins takes control of his pitiful band of halflings. His empire is in disarray from the start. He has no idea about who was managing this before, but no cities have any structures - they have all been sold!! I cannot even produce a slinger never mind anything more. I dont see how the new management will ever recover from this. I dont even have my Mayor in a towered city! Mad.

The dwarves moved south but we were waiting for them with King Crimjaw's forces. Three heroes killed, an army destroyed, and some pretty good loot, too.

My Goodness! - What a terrible assault of the bad guys! They even bring along good units from the Archons. It's a shame!

After confronting my shock I dismissed my incapable general-in-chief and on the fly my decadent governor, too. I had some interesting offers from other applicants, and seeing the fundamental crisis, it was high time for a change!

Still I wonder what the Evil menace will bring to our lands? I hope for the Elves to do a good job.

King Crimjaw,

Another good display of the orc-darkelf joining forces sees the dwarves crashed and burnt. It's safe to say the underground is ours.

On the surface, things can be better though. The elves seem to be expanding faster each day with their fliers. They are having a good source of Air elemental it seems. We maintain position together with Count Ludovic.

South-west coast, we march against halflings, warily of their invisible leprechauns.

Not familiar with the map.... must go download it but I'm subbing for H6 elsewhere.... I can pick this one up too if you like...

Nice that there are some names here I'm not too familiar with so that will be fun to get to know some of you better. I'm trying to remember the last time Rheno and I played... I think he got the better of me

Welcome Enginerd! I find this a very appealing map: simple, slow magic, few heroes, no shadow world

I'm enjoying a lot playing it, even if I'm greatly benefiting from Frall's superb work early on.
Thanks for finding a sub, naecO; this game's journey has been quite bumpy and I hope we can proceed smoother now.
