Topic Subject: MSXML 4.0 not properly installed

When I installed Rise of Nations and then tried to start, a message came up that MSXML 4.0 is not properly installed. The options of Abort, Retry, or Ignore all close the program. Any idea on how to fix this?

Try to reinstall it go to rise of nations carpet inside microsoft games, search for a icon saying msxmlspa.

Not sure what you mean be "carpet". I went into the file folder and found mxsmlenu and re-installed but the same thing happened again. I have a number of other msx*.* files in various places on the hard drive.

check if you got the msxml4.dll file its located in c:\windows\system32

Then
Start then select run Run
copy paste this:

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\msxml4.dll
