After some pestering I've been persuaded into doing another MoM. This'll be short and sweet just highlighting what I did, not how I did it.

1 - The Lego Brick Model. Just getting the basics for the proportions and placing everything correctly in.

2 - Basically the same as the first only now starting to work on the curves. More surfaces and faces also give a better impression of the overall feel to it.

3 - Now it's starting to look like a ship with the two nacelles on either side and an ubersmooth skin. This is done through a process of subdiving and meticulous tweaking.

4 - And now the texturing starts. First the easy stuff out of the way, the wings and the fuselage. Adding in some of the blisters for good measure. Also refining the back a little with a tail section.

5 - Fully texturing the model and testing out colors for the blisters.

6 - Finishing the texturing and coloring off. Most notably on the wing with some subtle gradients creating the look of paneling.

As you can see below it was a real pain matching up the inconsistancies that the origional artist made with the drawings but hopefully I still kept the overall feel for it.
