"The battle was called the Battle under the Stars, or Dagor-nuin-Giliath, for the Sun and Moon had not yet been made. The Noldor managed to win the battle, and destroy Morgoth's armies. Fλanor, still in a great rage, pressed on toward Angband with his sons. He came even within sight of Angband, but was ambushed by a force of Balrogs, with few elves about him. He fought mightily, hewing even after receiving several wounds from Gothmog, captain of the Balrogs. His sons came upon the Balrogs with a great force of elves, and were able to drive them off. However, as Fλanor was being escorted off the battlefield, he knew his wounds were fatal. He cursed Morgoth thrice, but with the eyes of death, he knew that his elves, unaided, would never throw down the dark towers of Thangorodrim. Nevertheless, he told his sons to keep the oath and to avenge their father. At the moment of his death the passing of his fiery spirit reduced his body to ashes.

His sons were still bound by the Oath to recover the Silmarils, which would determine the events of Middle-earth during the First Age."


Cursed emo badasses f*ck up even their children

The Sons of Feanor were ever cursed due to the Oath, but maybe you can save them and change history. Find Melkor, fight him, retrieve the jewels, and peace will forever be yours (and you won't get f*cked any longer).

Rules (blatantly and unabashedly copied from Animal Farm):

1) Do not edit your posts -- double post if necessary. Discretion from the mod will be used to determine a punishment if needed. Make sure you include everything you want to say into one post to avoid multiple-posting/editing; preview your posts several times.

2) Do not reveal any information (including investigation results, specifics about your role, etc.) after your character has died. Up until then you may reveal anything except when noted.

3) This game is closed communication -- strategize in this thread only, unless your role states otherwise. There are occasions where you may speak to others via email or other communication methods, but unless this is noted, you are not permitted to do so.

4) No strategizing during the night phase, such as telling the doctor who to protect, the cop to investigate, etc. I do allow talking at this time, however.

5) Follow HG's Code of Conduct at all times.

6) Do not directly quote any emails whatsoever. Paraphrase.

7) During the day phase, players vote to lynch by a solid majority. If the lynch majority is met, there is no turning back. You cannot unvote to discount the lynch. To cast your own vote type Vote: "Name". It's preferred that you bold it.

8) If you change your vote or decide to keep from voting for a while, type Unvote. Also preferred that you bold it.

9) Inactivity won't be tolerated. Each person must post at least once every 48 hours. If they do not, they will be prodded and will have 24 hours to post or be replaced. I have plenty of people willing to be replacements and I won't hesitate to use them.

Game Tips:

1) This is a typical Dethy, but with a twist. It will have six players with there being an extra townie cop.

2) The new cop may have any sanity, while the remaining 4 will have the same typical sanities.

3) To balance the numbers, there will be no cop advantage night.

4) Scum have been given a role email identical to the one town have. So comparing flavor will not work. This is all about deduction skills based on investigations and behavior.
