Something wasn't right. Everyone could feel it....no one spoke at the evening meal. No one even talked that night unless it was in silent whispers...the whole camp felt as if they were about to see their ancestors. Some of them may have been right....but not how they thought they would. As they went off to bed and someone took watch they thought they heard silent footsteps leave the tents.

A attempt on Beelzebubs life has magically been stopped by a outer force.

Else where in the camp another Hoplite was sitting by the fire when he heard a dull thud. He walked to where the watchman was and found him in a pool of blood with a gash in his head and dagger thrust through his body. The hoplite could not hear anything else so he ran off to inform the camp and especially tell the dead mans brother.

Well, if you're a town roleblocker it's not too unlikely that a mafia roleblocker targeted you, but an experienced player would probably target someone more experienced which throws suspicion at newer players...or you're lying.

If he thinks it would lead to catching scum, he might. However, a more experienced player might have gone about it a bit more subtly. But as far as I can tell, Beater is not horribly experienced.
I haven't played with him, but yeah, that's what I've heard.

Which honestly leads me to think he's telling the truth, if he hasn't got much experience and he thinks he has a solid lead I've seen tons of new players rush to help the town out in anyway, not necessarily thinking about what is best for the future.

Which leads me to think he's telling the truth, and that he did block GoO... unless he's trying to mislead us, but it's kinda early for scum to throw themselves out like that when it's mad easy to verify his claim.

So, I'd like to hear from GoO - what is your action, and how do you know it succeeded? If it's a cop I guess we just have to pray that we've got a good doc.

Let's start with a random (but not so random) vote.

I think the sarcasm is what gets WRP killed every game. However, I hardly believe we can go on a random roleblock. There are numerous different things which could have happened, Guard of Olympus could have had the doctor condition and saved Beezelbub while WRP's was blocked by another blocker, Guard could be a cop and there were more roleblockers and doctors (remember that Cold Viper said the game would be played in an unusual way), or the obvious one, WRP could have been lying. While I don't think he was, there's always a chance. WRP took a huge risk, either WRP is scared, maybe because he was blocked? or he was telling the truth, but I see no reason why he would reveal that to us unless it was dire.

Oh, and ferret and Maeg you both made a good point, WRP makes very rash decisions, but I've never seen anyone do something like this so early in a game, I would prefer if WRP had something to back his claim up.

To be honest a paranoid cop is a fairly typical scum claim; it's really easy to fake. You can make up any result you want and no one will take it seriously.

Who did you investigate last night? With a guilty result? Because that "belive in more enemies than there actually are" can also be a random cop with, like, 75% chance guilty, 25% innocent, IMO.
