Ok Ashrzr, if the singles claim last, then they know what roles to definitely not claim as, since the pairs will have already claimed them. However, even if the pairs claim last, one of the pair will have to back the other up and their claims will have to match, so even if they go last it's not as if they can change their claims according to the game situation.

Both of a pair could be scum, but since you thought Major wasn't scum, therefore it made sense to have TME wait and let the singles claim first because of the above reason.

Ok, so it is pointless like I just said. That's assuming that only singles are scum and not pairs. What if both members of the pairs are scum?

What's more, is it also assumes scum don't get the roles from the stones, if they are in risk to be counterclaimed. How do we know this for certain?

This is regarding TME, not the other pairs. He could have waited.

We don't know anything for certain, this game looks like it's screwed up to an extent, but it's the only thing we have to go on, really.

Plus, at least one of the singles has to be scum, while a complete pair may or may not be scum. I think it would be highly risky for scum to claim as an entire pair for the same reason that scum shouldn't claim masons.

It all depends.
On the plus side of scum-pairing, they can confirm each other without risk of counterclaiming
On the negative side, as Herr noted, the scum would be subject to the same problem as masons would.

I think that we can't discount a scum pair simply because they might have the mason problem. It's possible that A) the scum didn't think of that, and B) they think it's worth the risk for being able to confirm each other. I think it's unlikely, but possible.

I've been saying that it's unlikely but possible all along. What is definite is that one of the singles is scum, we should have gone after them first.

Who's left? Hopefully CV could just claim before he leaves?

Xeno should claim before you guys do and Ferret needs to claim his ability before you do.

Xeno and Thymole are the Espeons and Ferret is the Umbreon. And at this point, I guess it's fine if Ferret claims before the pair. My main problem was that it would allow scum to false-counter, but that's not an issue anymore, so I'm for a ferret claim.

Ferret should definitely go first. I'm also feeling a bit wary of Thymole's confusion regarding this.

Herr told me I need to claim. Sorry, not really following this game the past few days.

I'm an alignment cop / type cop; I have a chance of getting either one. Alignment gets me eevee or ditto; type gets me the type of Pokemon someone is.

I investigated Herr (naturally) and he is a flareon.

Ok, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I don't believe Ferret and his role doesn't really make sense to me, but first I'll let the Thymole-Xeno thing pass so that if there is some explanation I won't be putting unnecessary suspicion.

3) He is a hider, which is a ridiculous role for this game.
