As you may have noticed, we have a new Screenshots section in the gallery, which could use some additional screenshots/images. If you want to have yours featured on AoEH (and on the frontpage via the random image!), please post them here. Screenshots of any type are allowed, as long as they follow these rules:

- Screenshots may not exceed 1024 x 768 resolution.
- Must be in either .JPEG (.JPG), .PNG or .GIF format.
- Must be made by you.
- Abides the CoC.
- Both AoE and RoR are allowed.

Made something cool using the Scn Editor and want to show off? Or did you have an awesome RM/DM match last night and have some screens to prove you won? Post 'em here!

To make a screenshot in-game, press CTRL+F12. You can find the screenshot named "AoE0001.bmp" in your main AoE directory. Convert it to one of the allowed formats (with MS Paint, for example) and upload it to an image hosts such as Photobucket or Imageshack. Or, if you have a large amount of screenshots, upload them in a .zip file. Last but not least, post the image or link in this thread

Screenshots will be evaluated/approved by the Staff, and added afterwards.

How do you see that in a screenshot?

How about adding (the winners) the screenshot competition as a category

I was thinking of that too, will add screenshots on coming sunday.
How do you see that in a screenshot?
In the third screenshot where the instructions are, the background does not adjust to the correct resolution. I can garantee you that his main menu looks similar. This is very common among illegal copies of AoE.

You should make sure to add the pretty screenshot/agetoons contests as well, the latter of which I want to remind everyone that I won.

Could you post a link to the Agetoons contest? I can't seem to find it The random screenshot module only supports direct screenshots, sub-albums are not included, so the newly added material won't show on the front page.

You should change this rule, I already have screenshots in higher resolution and everyone will be able to make such when UPatch 1.1 is released.

I will post the screenshots I use for demo of UPatch 1.1. But the last 3 of them are from ES scenarios - is that a problem?

Phatty, only the first of those earlier sceenshots was a pretty town screenshot.

I can upload screenshot of bigger resolutions, but they would be resized upon viewing and anything in them would be difficult to see. If you like I can make a seperate album specifically for UPatch screenshots

I don't think there should be a differentiation. UPatch doesn't add new graphics, just the ability to use higher resolution. There is no such differentiation for UserPatch in AOE2.

Hello people I'm new here and I don't know where to put this question.....
I saw it as an active topic and put it here..

I was making a scenario and I created a .per file (edited the aggressive 3 attackers)
And loaded this per file in the scenario I made. Now my game is keep crashing whenever I play the scenario
Please help me what I did wrong...
And move this to any other ....
