Now, sit down and listen to me one moment before to continue to tear each other apart. First of all, welcome to the Age of Kings Heaven Parliament. You are currently in the heart of our dear democraty, the place in which (bribed) representatives of the people will discuss (and most of the time, to row to each other) and work for the progress of the society (when they are not occupied to recieve bribes). Here is the place to speak, obviously, about politic (or laugh of it), but also about economy, international diplomacy and everything related to these topics. As long that you speak loud, if you want that somebody heard you trought all those savage elected representatives.
The idea of this thread come from a political discussion in the Splash Splash. Quickly, forummers started to organize themselves in parties, and we saw appearing movements like the Bassian Despotist Party, the Revolutionary Anarchist Faction and the Central Democrats. The only thing that was missing: a thread to host their (bloody) debates.
So what are you wainting for to jump in this pitiless struggle?

Current parliamentary activity
Yes, mister the deputies. Now, it is the time to prepare your weapons for possible elections. But, before that, you should try to give some visibility to your party. What does it means? Oh, well... That is pretty simple: it means that it is the time to use a bit your creativity, and to flood the Parliament with banners and electoral posters. And even the rest of the Heavens, if you wish. But keep that in mind: everybody in AoKH, since now, should know the existence of your party.
Enacted Laws
1. All the parties represented in the Parliament should have submited an electoral platform to the host of the thread.
2. Their platform should be accepted by the host of the thread, and added to the topic post.
3. The platform of each party should be submited before March 1st, at 11:59 PM, forum time.
4. In the case that one of the party don't respect one of of the previous dispositions of the law, it will be declared inactive, and all its members will be send in the nearest party on the political compass, at the exception of its leader.
5. A party set as inactive, according with the paragraph 4, can become active again if its leader submit a platform for it, and that the deputies accept by a vote the reinsertion of the party.
6. The provisions of this Act come into force in February 12th, 2012, at 11:59 PM, forum time.
1. An institute will be created by the Parliament to offer support to the forummers, which will take the form of a staffed drop-in centre always ready to offer a helpful ear to anyone, and called the Community Welfare Crisis Service (or CWCS).
2. The Community Welfare Crisis Service shall be comprised of persons giving their time on a voluntary basis. The volunteers themselves may host whatever means of assistance they are capable of giving, using the forum software or any external means. The volunteers may be comprised of members from any (or no) party, and may not use facilities set up primarily for CWCS use to advertise or advocate any party in Parliament.
The CWCS shall be accessed by those who require it as and when it is necessary. It will be linked to, but not actively advertised.
3. An observatory role will be given to a member of the Parliament, chosen by the assembly of deputies (which is, in this case Popeychops), in all new activities ordained for CWCS application.
4. Amendments to CWCS legislation may be passed by simple majority of MPs, after proposal in Parliament by any MP.
5. The CWCS is provided "as is", any complaints with regard to the service provided may be submitted to the AoKH moderation team if the Code of Conduct has been breached. Any other disputes must be settled between CWCS volunteer and CWCS recipient.
6. Suggested initial policies of the CWCS include, but are not limited to:

A buddy system, where aspiring designers can pair up with an experienced designer and get them to look over a file and offer assistance, tuition, playtesting and peer-reviewing.
7. CWCS is a serious proposition to help designers in genuine need of assistance or pastoral care from the community. Our membership is our most treasured possession, great than any forum software or award-winning scenarios. As such, the spirit of the act crosses party boundaries and should not be used for personal gain. No payment in due or in kind may be received for offering assistance under CWCS.

3. About the host:
3.1. The host must a capable and mature forummer, that will be responsible for the maintainance of the Parliament and moderating the discussion, with the collaboration of the Forum moderators when it's required.
3.2. The host will be elected by the community when the Parliament thread is about to reach it's time limit.
3.3. The host must be fair and not prejudice and/or abuse it's authority over the Parliment members.
3.4. The host is to be called the Secretary of the Parliament.

4.3. The host will be elected by majority of votes. When the Parliament thread reaches it's voting deadline, the voting session will be closed and the votes will be counted. The most voted candidate will be the next host.
4.4. A host can't vote, unless there is a tie for the first position, in which case he will be the tie-breaker.
4.5. A host can't run the thread two times in a row. He must allow for someone else to host after him, so he can run for hosting again.

Platform of the parties
We propose:
- Forced government admission that the majority of AoKH are, in fact, smurves of Aro. Thus, Aro *is* the 99%.

- Hedonism declared an inalienable right, rather than a sporadic privilege.
- The right to bare arms. Especially the armpit.
- Exclusive rights for people who's names start with A to kick the ass of AoKH Libertarian Party members who can't write poetry.
- State religion that worships Aro exclusively, instead of this God fellow he always had to content with (and Fadawah).
- Ending non-existent forum registration fees immediately.
- Removal of n00bs quickly and with force. THE EYE OF ARO IS UPON YOU, MAYANK!

- To make Age of Kings Heaven independant of Heaven Games, what will allow us to reinvest the wealth created by advertising in our community, for its improvement.
- To allow to everybody who wish it to become an angel, if he is judged able to fill this task by the community.
- To cut the job of moderator, and create a tribunal, in which people accused of could be juged in equity by a jury composed of forumers, and defended by a lawyer. (which could be a discharged Cherub). We are opposed to the actual system, based on arbitrary condemnations.
- To allow to everybody to chose freely his custom title.
- To create a government of collaboration, in which every deputy would be listened, and each suggestion, considered. We also want to create a popular assembly where all the forumers could present their opinions to the Parliament members.
- To encourage the artistic creation, like scenario design, and promote the creation of articles in the university, to share the knoweldge to all the community.
We seek to rectify the discrimination that exists in the heart of capitalism; discrimination against the poor.
With a state that takes from the rich and gives to all, none shall be impoverished!
Join the AoKH Socialist Party, and live in a society working for the benefit of all!
We propose:
- A graduated income tax based on the value of reviews / comments recieved per annum
- A free review for all files without one
- Support for designers working hard to provide for a family of three or more scenarios
- Continued hosting of meritocratic competitions and encouragement for high-quality scenario design
- Abolition of custom titles, or their extension to all
- Election of the moderators by popular consent, pending administrative approval
- The spread of Age of Empires to our working brethren in other heavens!
We propose:
- To plant a Stalin Tree in the centre of forums.
- to replace the maps of the world with more accurate alternatives that do not include the ridiculous ideas of countries other than AoKH.
- 'The Communist Manifesto' by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels and 'Microwave for One' by Sonia Allison compulsory reading at all levels.

- All fruit will be reshaped to look like Stalin.
We propose:
- To elect ministers to settle the AOKH policy efficiently: the ministries to aspire are : Speech, Elections, Mafia, Designing, Modding, University, Artificial Intelligence, War and Propaganda.
- To give the power of AOK Heaven to the king, so that he can decide with his council of ministers what decision to take within a trouble.
- To give a custom title to heroes, id est to people having shown their devotion to the king by an act of bravery.
- To create a jurisdiction to judge, within AOKH, people having shown a misbehaviour towards the community.
- To allow petitions to the attention of the king for a member request.
- To allow a special section of languages, that would allow non-English speaking (as mother language) people to speak in another language with other members. A translation would be necessary only if the king decides it.
- To promote modding by investing in performant tools to ease units/buildings modding thanks to a panel of designers and data-specialists. A modding contest will be organized every year or trimester depending on its success.
- To create a financial assistance for people who can't buy a microphone.
Our talents will take this state/country, to the heights of

- To produce 3 good single player scenarios every year.
- To produce 4 good multiplayer scenarios every year.
- To produce 5 good random maps every 3-4 months...
- To complete at least 2 of the above conditions.
- To host many competitions in a year.
- To have a daily news section which will be related to all of us and all our comments, whose editor will be the forummers who live in England.
- To avoid spamming if possible or maybe not?
- To give all our brothers and sisters on these forums a place of equality.
- To complete at least 3 of the give 4 above.
- To have all the Heavengames play AOK and AOK:TC!!!

- Elections for Moderators.
- Moderators may not ban a person without consent of two thirds of the other moderators.
- Moderators can be overthrown with a two thirds vote against them.
- That we will kick ass!

- We will never declare war!
- The rules of a forum may be changed by the people.
