I totally support Vandhaal's New 7 Wonders for AOM work, but, as a scientist, I absolutely do NOT support the election from the "http://www.new7wonders.com/" campain.
Though, I would have elected 3 of the finalists, I fully agree to the UNESCO statement, which mainly says, that it is just a commercial campain, and that it has absolutley nothing to do with scientific research. It only has something to do with commercialisation and publicism of Mr. Weber's campain.
Also, the website for this campain is (and was) in such a low quality of information, that I would put it onto my TOP list of the worst annoying websites of all time!

Great survey you've made here ( and this is not a joke, the rest is... ) but your really needs help when it comes to internet... and triggers.
About adding the 1 to 20 numbers next to the wonders titles. Then we, I mean I, won't have to try figuring out which one is wonder number 8 or 17, since the number list is way longer than the titles one...

hahahaha..also as I already have said in my forum.........the vote pages have a special protection ONLY for French people. who use a mac and who's names start with J and end with L....the rest of the world can vote as many times as they like............so yes all the guys around you in here have already voted 20 times

well i hope this election at least has some entertainment value...and gives us some fun...besides that it was for me also a good oppurtunity to read some more about the 7 ancient wonders of the world.....to be honest those new wonder election i find a bit ..well crappy........i mean that statue of fricken christ ? what the heck is it doing there..........the statue of Zeus or Collosus now that is just wonderous how they where able to build such things.....

I have to agree on this. I'm still on vacations and still on a cyber-café PC! Slow motion...

I was intreged by the 'hanging gardens of babaylon'. Not because of what it was meant to look like but because of what my mental image gave me... A lot of people hanging from a tree. Not very nice (and it will probably give me nightmares) but it intreged me.

plz if you are not using the msn live hotmail but the other hotmail thing...check your junkmail when you register......because i noticed that hotmail is blocking the registration email or is putting it into the junkmail folder....this counts probably also for yahoo email........I tried to email all who use hotmail......but you can image with more then 100 voters already this will be an impossible task for me

all other free email accounts have no problems as far as i can judge

as for the hanging gardens....i had a bit less macaber mind image

in my mind those gardens really hung in the air.........never thought how in a techical reality way........so they always just hang from the skies.......i got this image when I was a little kid and my mom talked about these 7 wonders........and even if i know more now about the "real thing"...it still stays with me

basicly that also happens when I see all those aom wonders......they all are basicly answering a lot of those mind images i have.....for example the great steps from slickman........i see myself infront of these uber sized godlike steps in some far away norse realm

its ashame that since this election is linked to 7 wonders....only 7 can be elected in the end...but basicly i see all 113 as true wonders......... a well doesn't matter...its fun and the 113 always remain on an honoured place ( and i will probably add more if new ones are going to be released to an extra album

so please even if the election is now well underway ( already hundreds of votes are casted) if you have created something...wonderous plz post it here or.....in the aomH eyecandy forum thread as you all can probably see i am trying to collect as many as possible aom things....in an effort to keep them somewhere save for times when this game is forgotten........... i still am a bit sad that I could no find any wonders from gaurdian or the god of explosives

I have invited now also some other communities...like aoe3h and aokh......some did not appriciate my invitation.....don't ask me why.....besides the gaming communities i also have invited people from myth communities ( no game)........i wonder how they like aom and hope that this is a nice first encounter with this game......i am not in the illusion that because of this more people will start visting aomH....but you never know...maybe some get inspired to check aom and start visiting aomH

The double meaning of hanging gardens is an English thing imho... in German it just means "gardens that hang down from somewhere".

that system of watering those hanging gardens was very clever.........and is amazing if you concider the place and time they where build in........ofcourse i keep my imagination alive and skip it...those gardens just hang their on a magical way

the reason that I made the voting time so long is because i invited also none gamers around the internet ......really fun to see how they make their votes compared to people who are into AoM.......and on the other hand its also amazing to see that some choises are exact the same

second reason.......december is a good time....we always need a lot nice christmas presents......so the result of this can be one of them.... summer is no good time to present the results and the 7 final wonders of Aom TT

its simmilar to those photos i shot from how the current location looks in 2007

unfortuantly the aomH forum does not allow you to post movies
