And here's the answer:

1. Put any TXT file that contains the word "anim" in the "animations" folder.

2. Put any .ddt file that doesn't contain the word "icon" in the "textures" folder.

3. Put any .ddt file that DOES contain the word "icon" in the "textures/icons" folder.

4. Put any .WAV. or .MP3 file in the "sounds" folder.

5. Put any XML file that contains the word "snds" in its title in the "sounds folder.

6. Put any "protox.xml" or "proto.xml" file in the "data" folder.

7. Put any .brg file that doesn't contain the word "low" in the "models" folder.

8. Put any .brg file that DOES contain the word "low" in the "models/low" folder.

9. Bitch-slap the guy that uploaded the mod for making you do all this work!

oh i downloaded the major gods mod(MGM)

Here's what it says in the readme file:

To install, Copy-n-paste these files to the correct locations:
Copy all of the Texture Files to the Age of Myhtology\Textures Folder.
Copy all of the Anim Files to the Age of Myhtology\Anim Folder.
Copy all of the Sound Files to the Age of Myhtology\Sound Folder.
To make it easier for you i have entered my own protox.xml and techtreex.xml
Just copy them to the data folder!

Basically, here's what he was saying.

1. Open the .ZIP file you downloaded.
2. Double click on the "anim" folder.
3. Select all the files in that folder, then press ctrl and c at the same time.
4. Go to Start, Run, then paste this into the typing box:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\anim

5. Paste the files you copied into this folder by clicking on empty space in it, then pressing ctrl and v at the same time.

thank you it worked! but i tried it and i am not impressed with the results because 1 they dont die and 2 they look the look too much like others...

And eh, that's just the way it is.

I'm sure some better versions will come out eventually.

i plan on creating them when i get more experienced
