The Undead are moving too, albeit at a slower pace.
A day might have been lost due to bad manouevering...but we hope to make it up.

Bad manoevering is known for the Undead! Unluckily they have other advantages.

Obtained some interesting victories today. Henry is content.

The garrisons of the friendly towns are asking too much to join.

Anon, day 5

Nice attempt! Who is asking towns for joining anyway?
Anon's troops approaching some of the cities carefully. The goodies of the creek are soon within reach!

Anon, day 6

We applaud with admiration to the running exercises of Nekron! Some of your frontiers might have been slightly overstretched though. Anon's Southern depatchment thanks for conquering the Elven city by a group of Nekron's garstly warriors. With a little luck and namely Anon's strong air support Sir Henry and two friends could defeat the wounded quartet of Nekron and gain the Elven city without any casualties and barely a scratch!

Well, the first blood to fall on this soil is black but taint the earth it will and befoul all that will walk hereafter...heed the warning, you old man and stay away.

Chanta in the North approaching with some support. Sir Henry and company on keen missions.

The war is waging, without us expecting it so early! 3 of our units fell against 7 on Nekron's side. This is acceptable, but we are not really satisfied because Sir Henry, our formost hope, had to perish in the battles. Nekron is nifty in finding ways to bring troops to the battlefield. But how many more can he bring in?

A slight advantage is our's because for the time being we obtained air-superiority.

FB, I believe I have sent you the turn...did you receive it?. Your standing avenger was killed during my turn.
If you didn't receive it, I can resend.

I know you are on a fasting retreat until 27th, but since you were playing your other games, thought there might be some mixup in this one.

TL, you have become lazzy with commenting!

Nekron took our weakly defended Elven city today. His Northern troops approaching. Well, at least air superiority is functioning well. Another optimistic Wyvern interceptor brought down.

TS

posted 03-27-04 04:59 AM EDT (US)     17 / 56
Well, I knew that wyvern had an ephemeral existence in this world...no way can it stand against a pegasus and an eagle rider.

Garrisons are strengthened and the northern forces fall just short of attacking the 4 little hobbits near the halfling city. One wonders what strategy Anon has got up his sleeve.
Tomorrow, we will see what garrison is there in the city and then attack the hobbits.

Don't want to win that battle and lost another one...especially with a slinger who can do much harm.

Anon, day 11

Light and shadow lie close together this day again! By a utterly stupid action, wrong presssing of the mouse, we lost our airforce against the Elven city for almost nothing in exchange. Too bad! Perhaps it had something good because it added to exhaust Nekron's casting capacity.

In the North our trick to confuse the enemy with irregular troops was successful and we gloriousely overcame the evil threat including the vile bomb-throwing Nilduh with the great aid of three priests. Now the wonderful Chanta is wearing the Bone-Shield and the shells! - In the meanwhile 2 Hobbit secrect agents took over the Drow city. Unfortunately they got too nervous about their victory and laid waste to the city before they got knowledge about Chanta's victory. That was the other stupidity of the day!

The result is balanced. Despite the fact that we killed dozens of them, in the southern cities Nekron has heaps of smaller units standing! Now the race for the capitals might ensue.

It was a sad day indeed, when we lost the hero and his stack of very good troops. Made even sadder by the fact that the dark elven town was razed. Those hobbits will surely die, one hopes fervently.

The elven city continues to hold strong despite air raids
by Anon.

The forces in the remaining two towns are being sorted and ordered to provide a more solid defense and the chance of a counterattack should Anon's offensive fail.

Anon, day 12

Nothing is sure in the Creek valley! The two Hobbits survived a strong indy attack bravely and we had to kill the approaching Blade Dancer of Nekron before it could do any harm. Chanta being at the height of the Astori ruins now. The two agents disappeared into the woods again.

Strong indy attack?. If two hobbits can't take on a single bladedancer when defending, I pity to think what you will do when you face real opposition!!! Probably surrender???

Though the setbacks in the north have pushed us back somewhat, we are recouping and Anon's marauding army will be taken care of...after a timely dispel or two.

In the east, still no signs of Anon, which is good.

The secret agents should have switched off that goddamn Death Node! It's amazing how far they came with all the mistakes they do!

A misty traveller of Nekron could not escape the sharp eyes of Chanta, the pure and good! - Another Wyvern flyer down. That's better for our cause!

In the North recaptured our watchtower.

Now to serious practices? - I will try to do my best.

Hm, but with throwning spidernets Nekron must still exercise. We could easily escape the nets and have retired to a secret place. - Elsewhere we had to eliminate anotherone of the helpless crawling spiders.

Forces of Nekron are also numerous, but we take an effort in reducing them. We ventured to risk and bring us near the enemy at the NE mills and removed an ugly Beetle tank and a spider which was its company. Mills now under our control again!

A day with surprises! Nekron attacked our forces in the North and lost; his "invasion" army is rubble, including the dangerous Balloon.

In the South our situation is more precarious. Timelord would not be Timelord if he hadn't set up a nice trap for us. Waiting in the underground there is a strong group of Goblin excellencies. One of our poor Pegasos had to die for the clearing mission. :/

Nekron -

Since my goblin forces have been spotted, we bring them to the surface. And if Anon thinks, he can retake that once-elven town, he's got another thought coming.

Anon does not think, he is approaching with his superior armies!

Chanta marches up to face the dark hordes eye-to-eye, in a few yards away, before the Ordstone cave. They look wierd and wild! Will they fringe, or will they fight?

I thought of fighting but couldn't reach your army.
Now, its left to you...though, judging by your confidence, I would guess you had something more in store than just that single stack.

Perhaps the confidence was a bit exaggerated, but after casting some Holy Woods we have hope to reach Ordstone castle before you can.
